"Nixon and his worker worked straight for 5 hours moving 4 rooms of very difficult and heavy furniture. They then went on to repair a desk and hang a very heavy old mirror. They were wonderful. "First did a quick patch to fix missing shingles and replace and enlarge vents and realized the roof was in need of a complete replacement. Team came right away and replaced the roof quickly, 2 days total, one day finishing up in fairly heavy rain. Walking around the property today it looked completely clean, wanted to check because I have little kids and sometimes construction workers don't tidy up well and the lawn looked perfect. The roof looks great and is supposed to last for 20+ years so hopefully we won't need to see H & J again but would recommend them to others"

"I would give them a 0 star if i could. This company installed a high-efficiency, EPA-rated woodstove insert that does not heat the room it was installed in. I was told it was the “best bang for the buck” and a reliable unit, but that has not been the case. When I raised concerns after installation, I was told nothing was wrong and was even accused of using unseasoned wood—which was not true. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a solution, they dismissed my concerns and refused to help. Now I am stuck with a unit that doesn't work. The lack of accountability and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I will not be doing business with them again."
