In order to accommodate mom's move to the first floor of the house, we worked with Handi-Bath to make the entire first floor ADA compliant. Specifically, Joe and his team ripped out the small bathroom on the first floor and created a beautiful oasis of comfort for my mom with a walk-in shower with bench and grab bars; higher toilet seat with grab bars; installing an ADA-sink vanity to accommodate a potential wheelchair; widened doors to fit a potential wheelchair; created pocket doors and worked seamlessly and timely in order to complete the job in two weeks, which was out timeframe. "We hired Steven to redo our kitchen floor and install a countertop backsplash. Unfortunately, the project did not go as smoothly as planned. The workmen on the first day caused damage to an adjacent floor and did a poor job with the leveling. To Steven’s credit, he immediately acknowledged the problems and arranged, at his own expense, for the floor to be refinished and the leveling redone properly. What was supposed to be a three-day project stretched into months because of these complications, and during that time we often doubted his assurances that he truly wanted the work done right. He also gave us a substantial discount to help make up for the delays and inconvenience.
