"I hired this contractor through Angi for a fence installation and paid a $4,995.50 deposit toward a total agreed price of $8,995. After more than three months, only fence posts were installed. No fence panels were installed, and the fence was left incomplete and unusable. During that time, I repeatedly received text messages stating he would return ?in two weeks,? but the work was never completed. I gave multiple opportunities and allowed far more time than originally expected. Because the project was not completed, I had to stop the work and look for other options to finish or correct the fence. I have documentation including text messages, proof of payment, and photos showing the condition of the work. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise caution when hiring this contractor, especially regarding timelines, completion of work, and payment terms."

"Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT hire Stallings Builders to do work for you. His company ruined our entire backyard and promised (in writing) to "make it right" repeatedly. When we finally came to an agreement and hired a company to fix our yard, we contacted Paul to let him know and he declined to pay to rectify the situation, even though he had previously agreed in writing... just days before the work to correct this situation was to take place. We were given a runaround from the start of the job. Stallings Builders did the exact opposite of making it right. This company does not provide professional, trustworthy, or honest work... nor quality work. The fence he installed was installed crooked, damaged, completely filthy, stained, and in addition, our brand new sodded yard was absolutely destroyed. He kept sending the same crew to try and correct the issues (red flag and terrible service) and kept assuring me that he would "make this right". The crew did not even show up with the proper equipment much of the time and had to leave and then come back another day several times. Paul kept apologizing and saying "I will make this right" (in writing). Well, sad to say, it just never happened. We trusted this company and were led on a terrible wild goose chase and left in complete ruin. Not sure how they sleep at night. We have lost nearly 10k in this whole ordeal which has been going on for 6 weeks. 6 weeks to simply install a fence on a small yard. The headaches alone have been unbearable with this company. I have everything in writing and in photos to show the absolute horror show we have walked through with this company. I have shared a small sampling there. In the end, we are at a loss for words and beyond disappointed that we ever trusted Stallings Builders to do work for us."
