Taking advantage of a special offer for a one hour service call, we contacted Victor one week ago and arranged to have him do some work. He arrived promptly at the time agreed upon, quickly repaired the wiring to our doorbell and replaced an entryway light switch. I then asked if he would replace an old smoke detector for me even though that hadn't been part of the original order. For the cost of the detector, he went to a local hardware store and did the installation quickly and efficiently. All work was completed within an hour including the time it took to go out and buy the detector. Both he and his colleague learned of the issues we faced and got right to work doing what they could to satisfy our need. Those switches/outlets/light fixtures that were in good shape from an electrical standpoint were left as is. Those that were in ill repair were repaired. Point made: This is an electrical contractor who exhibits a sense of integrity and doesn't gauge his customers. In addition, Dan provided recommended suggestions for the future. When he discovered he would be an hour late due to an unexpected customer emergency, he alerted us and kept us informed of his anticipated time of arrival. Final point: he is a good communicator, understands his customers well and is empathetic to their needs. It doesn't get much better than that. My vote: A+. Bravo for a job well done."

"The light switches were installed, but he chewed up one wall pretty bad to the point where it needed drywall repair, which he said he would come back for when we did the LED strip lighting job. But because they never got back to me about anything when I called and left messages, both on the machine and with an actual person, I had to do the repairs myself. And as for the generator, they said it was working, but a few months later when the power went out, the generator failed. And they failed to come out and help. And this is systemic with them. I have even called and complained directly to them that it is almost impossible to get someone to call you back to give the a job. It's crazy. Will never work with them again."

"I had the good fortune of meeting Gregg from Firefly Landscape Lighting several weeks ago. He is a teacher who loves spending time outdoors when not at school. I had Kicher outdoor lights installed last year. From the first day, I had issues with lights being lighter and darker than each other and others going out completely. Gregg met me at exactly 7am as promised so I could leave for work on time. He was able to tell me within several minutes what was wrong with the system and what he needed to do to get it working. Gregg seemed very honest and knowledgeable and gave me what seemed to be a fair price for the work that needed to be done. I agreed to have him fix the system that day. I left for work and he called me several hours later that the system was fixed and it was. I am only sorry that I did not know Gregg at the beginning of the project so that he could have helped with design, fixture selection and installation. I am sure it would have come out much better."

"Melichar's electrician texted in advance of arriving on time to repair a partially broken bathroom fixture installed by another contractor.  He said he would order the part to repair it.  Several days later Mr. Melichar phoned me to say that parts were not available- we could either order a new light or install parts from another light.  The latter would run up labor costs.  I decided on a new fixture.  He gave me an excellent price and installed it within a week.  The electricians were punctual leaving the bathroom spotless.  Excellent and very professional. <br />"
