All the various operations required to demolish concrete, remove it, condition the driveway soil with gravel and sand compacted and laying all the pavers was handled with great precision and timing between teams to complete all the steps involved. The team took extra steps and made good visual decisions for a finished look to the driveways. I had to pick up a few details where the new pavers meet the structure. He also poured a 10 x 10 area of concrete in an area adjacent to my patio floor, installing a drain and drainage pipe, as well. Finally, he resurfaced the existing concrete patio floor, painted it and sealed it. Inoke was professional, flexible, informative and kept me apprised of the production schedule. "Jeff Goldman is to home patios as Pavarotti is to opera. He is an artist that is unique in this industry. In need of a new deck, I called three different contractors. One never returned my call. One came out and showed me what I considered to be inferior materials for the project. The last contractor to come out was Jeff. Not only was he on time, but he came prepared. Samples of nearly component that go into a patio cover. Prices. Ideas: originally, we were going to just replace the deck. But Jeff suggested another way to go, that would in effect increase the utility of the downstairs patio. Great idea. And great execution, now that it is built. Jeff?s crew is polite, and they leave a clean worksite at the end of the day. Jeff is involved in every stage of the process, and we had a final ?walk-through inspection? prior to final payment. Jeff knows this business thoroughly (it is a family business), and it is clear that he enjoys what he does. He has a showroom in Tustin that is worth going to for ideas. "Working with the Rep was somewhat of a headache. One walkway was next to a ceramic tiled patio. They cracked 6 tiles. The Rep's response: my workers do not lay tiles. After many discussions, I fixed it myself and received some compensation. I had to be present the full time of laying the pavers in order to correct mistakes. Along the same walkway, there was a row of edging stones that looked like a snake after the pavers were laid. After much discussion they were straightened. A really sore point is the clean up after the job was done. Along another walkway, a lot of the diggings were left on either side of the walkway. I had to clean it up. Lastly, the Rep and I had an agreement that I would give him a check for full payment with the understanding that he would not deposit the check until I notified him that I had procured the funds and they were available in my checking account. He decided to deposit the check before the funds were available resulting in an overdraft charge of $30.00 to me. To date, he refuses to reimburse me for the breaking of our agreement."
