He first asked what I wanted to achieve and then measured and made recommendation on how best to achieve what I wanted to do. He explained every step it would take to complete the job and which correlated precisely with industry standards for driveway concrete. I already had a good idea of what reasonable cost would be. A & R's quote was reasonable and right on target for my budget. He scheduled a date and time to start the job and estimated how long it would take to complete. There were a total of three scheduled visits to complete the job. Enrique and his crew arrived on time and ready to work whether the task was escavating, framing, spreading or sealing. The results look great. I could not be more pleased."

"I've read reviews from other people, and it's interesting how people can have different experiences. I had a 26X65 concrete slab put in, and culvert put in along with some grading done. Kevin came when he said he would and did what he said he would do. I guess my experience overall was one that hit a lot of different angles. The work done was great, but there were some misunderstandings that was of no fault of Kevin's, but I made them his. One of which was no fault of mine, either, but the company led me down the wrong path painting the picture that what Kevin was supposed to do didn't. As I was out of town, I called him up and voiced my displeasure. He responded very professionally and explained the situation to make me understand that he did do what was asked of him. A couple other times, a text went awry and something else that I have since forgotten. But each time he handled himself professionally and had no attitude despite being falsely accused. I'm sorry to hear of other people's situation, but I can only speak for myself and what I experienced. The other thing that impressed me was Kevin was willing to haul his equipment, and did, from a few hours away to regrade an area that this company said they couldn't get across, which was the companies miscommunication. The other thing is response time. There was one time it took a while for him to respond, but living in a rural area, and given that if you're in the middle of a job, I can't expect someone to always be available. One time we even lost connection due to how things are. Just something to keep in mind if you live in an area with ONE bar : /"

"I purchased a coupon for asphalt driveway sealing for a 1000 sq ft driveway, knowing I would pay an additional fee for additional footage and patching. I was shocked that the additional cost would only be $168--we have a l-o-n-g driveway that is two-car width's wide. I was advised that we ought to wait a couple of weeks to get the work done because our trees were shedding seed hulls, as they do by the thousands each year. We didn't mind waiting at all.

I called them when the trees were done. They arranged to be out 2 days later. You could set your clock by them--they are that punctual! They did everything that was in the contract, did it professionally, cleaned up, and were done in a very timely manner.

No complaints, only praise for their work. I'll hire them again in a couple of years. The driveway looks great.

Jim made a long, hot, hard job look easy. And his results look much, much better than ours did.

"Mr. Mayne came as scheduled to examine the site and determined the cost for replacing the porch and steps. He described how he would also fill a crack between the porch and the walk and agreed to extend the width of the steps and to repair a crack between the steps at the side of the house. I asked about installing a rail on the steps. He replied that if I obtained the rail, he would install it. He called the next day with the amount he would charge which seemed reasonable from information we had from other sources. He said they could do the work in a week and a half. When I explained that I had not yet found a rail, he said that they could do the work and when I obtained the rail, he would come back and install it. They came at the scheduled time and did a great job removing the damaged porch and building a new one.
I was impressed with Mr. Mayne's answers to my questions and his assessment of the best option for repairing or replacing the porch.  The work was done efficiently and a concrete spill was cleaned up thouroughly.  The workers were friendly and cooperative in every way.  Mr. Mayne reiterated his willingness to install a rail when I obtained it.
