I agreed and he set about his work (fortunately, he had the matching shingles on his truck). When finished, he offered to walk around the roof and look for other areas of concern. He found two spots which were damaged by birds, and took care of them as well at no additional charge. After he was finished, we discussed the overall condition of the roof and he told me that I could easily get a couple of more years out of it, which is what I was hoping to hear. I plan to screen in my back deck and we discussed the roof work that would be done, and some options for finishes, etc. I appreciate the time he took to answer my questions and his quality of work, as well as his friendly demeanor. As for leaf filter, they are not a local contractor and as far as Im concerned, use high pressure tactics to get the sale. "Bob is a gifted cabinet maker. He made custom cabinets for our old house using the facing of the old cabinets. There were many challenges to getting it to work and get the right look. Bob not only gave us the functionality we needed but retained the historical accuracy of the kitchen. Bob is also easy to work with and very deoendable. "Called and left messages for over a month to get them to resolve issues. Finally had to go to their office to get someone to talk to me. There was a 1" gap at the back chimney that you could see through from the attic. They assured my wife the flashing had been installed correctly but they would fix. Asked that they check the flashing on the other chimneys which they assured us they did but now have leak in into my bedroom. I will be calling another contractor to fix their poor workmanship."
