Harold and Daniel are honest, reliable, courteous, and most important, pay great attention to detail. Harold even had good design ideas when asked for his input. "I hired him to re-build our deck, this was a forty two thousand dollar deck. He mostly completed the job, but the inspector failed it due to the railing not being compliant on the stairs. He kept promising to get it resolved, but nothing was ever done. So I have a really expensive deck that never passed inspection, he has not made any attempt to resolve the issue. Now the fasica boards are buckling and pulling away from the deck, and he is not responding to that either. The railings were not installed per the instructions and droop in several places, I had to fix a few spots that were looking terrible. The railings were not even close to correct on the stairs. I would avoid this company, but if you do use them, ensure absolutely everything is done, permits finalized prior to making final payment."

"Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss it with my husband. After the installation the field manager acknowledging the wave and gaps in the wall, he told me that while it didn't meet my expectations, it met their "standard of error." Let that sink in: Mad City Bath?s official policy is that crooked and wavy is good enough. If you value your money, or want a shower that is actually square and plumb, stay far away from this company. They perform subpar work, hide behind automated phone lines when things go wrong, and will abandon you the moment they have your money. Hire a reputable contractor instead."

Customers say: Quality work

"Bath Fitter did an amazing job upgrading our shower. We had tile, but we were having so many problems with cracks in the tile and the grout cracking and causing leaks that we were recaulking every 6 months, to the point the shower became unusable. Bath Fitter gave us a competitive quote. The install took a full day. The shower is a larger custom size but they handled it like pros. They knocked out all the tile and green board down to the studs, took out the original flooring, reworked the plumbing, then went to work installing everything. They got done late in the evening but the shower looked amazing. We had to wait a few days for the caulk to cure, and we waited a full week just to make sure it was fully set, but we loved it right away. We chose the Delta 2 in 1 Hydrorain shower head and instantly loved it. The best part? Our shower no longer leaks! Very happy with Bath Fitter’s work."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in High Ridge, MO

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
