The crew even cut up the limbs for my firewood pile, & left me a great pile of mulch for my landscape. "I had received quotes from 4 different providers.  The Flyin' Squirrel provided the lowest-cost estimate (by far) and could do the work within one week from the time that I contacted him.  On the day of service, Dan (the owner) and 2 other crew members completed the removal of a large maple and a small-medium elm (and hauled off all debris).  I was so impressed with how quickly they worked and the relative low cost that I asked him to quote another tree in the yard.  He provided another low-cost estimate for that tree and was able to come back by the end of the following week to remove it.  Dan does not do stump removal himself, but gave my contact information to a stump removal guy who removed the large stump for $125.
I would use this company again and recommend them to anyone who wants their trees removed promptly for a very reasonable price.

"Paid $200 to Angie's List for $400 of tree trimming services. Didn't hear anything from the company for nearly 2 weeks so I called them. They said that they did not receive notification of my payment to Angie's List or my contact information. They quoted me a cost of $700. + the $400 credit from Angie's List. My actual out of pocket cost was $900. I don't have the time to shop around for work such as this so I agreed to the cost. I had these same trees trimmed by another company a few years back for less than $700. Certainly it was not an $1,100 job which is what it cost me if Angie's $400 deal is considered as it should be. The work done was Okay I guess. Three of the trees appear to be a bit butchered but they will grow back I assume. The prior company that trimmed these same trees did a better job. I was not home when the work was completed. I was waiting on a statement from them to pay the remaining $700. I owed them. Less than 2 weeks after the work was done I get a call at work from them wanting their $700. Apparently they had my contact information after all. Their representative actually came to my place of employment that same day to pick up a check! Bottom line is the supposed $400. deal from Angie's List did nothing for me in terms of my cost for this project. I'm very confident I could have gotten the job done for less than the $900 out of pocket that I paid had I taken the time to get some other bids."
