"We went to Plants For All Seasons, and they told us what we needed to do to help the lawn, and the plants. They came out, fertilized the plants, did a real good job, were very caring, and considerate. They are a reputable company, and they are highly recommended."

"Provider gave me an excellent price on St.Augustine grass (sod). I needed the sod right away and he promptly came by the following morning and started the installation. I under-quoted my sq footage that needed to be covered so he had to leave and obtain additional pallets. He quickly returned however and finished the job superbly. I would highly recommend his service. Good grass and excellent service. <br />"

"A-American Pest Control was one of 5 pest exterminators I contacted for quotes to treat my house for termites and other insect pests; including two major nation-wide companies and 2 other independents. A-American was very thorough and professional in their inspection, quoting, documentation and job performance. They showed up on time and did what they said they'd do. In my case, the owner-operator of A-American and his helper provided the inspection, quote and actual service. They were both nice and pleasant to deal with. I found the owner-operator to have up-to-date knowledge and be an expert regarding pest control. I like dealing with experienced long standing owner-operators such as A-American. I will use A-American for additional pest control jobs."

"Very professional. Arrived mostly on time of scheduled appointment for inspection. Was patient explaining what was going on in the bathroom. Told me the infestation was over. After inspection of while house he told me we had no infestations golf termites or anything else of concern. He provided estimates for general pest control and fire ant control. I hired him for the fire ant control, which he did promptly and with sons year guarantee."

"The quality of the service provided has been fine so far (based on one treatment). My negative review is based on the quality of their sales-people. I had a gentleman come to the door (waking me up from sleep- I work nights and sleep during the day). The conversation was quick and they said if I switched to Reliant they could offer me slightly cheaper payments than my current pest control company and that it would be a month-to-month service that I could cancel at any time (which is important for me as I focus on pet control during just the summer months and like to cancel or put my account on hold during the winter months). The guy had me quickly sign a few places on the contract and I was not given a chance to read it through. As I was still in a sleepy haze this did not seem as suspicious to me as it should have. When I call in the cancel the service, I find out that I am locked in a 1-year agreement and to cancel I have to pay 75% of the remaining contract. <br /> Basically I feel like that salesman just told me whatever I wanted to hear (lied, lied, lied) to get me to sign up knowing that I would be trapped with the contract. It is sneaky and speaks volumes about the quality of the people hired by this company. I would not recommend this company. Pest-control companies are available in droves throughout Houston and when you can have your pick I would not pick a company that lies to get you into a contract. Yes, I should have insisted that the salesman not rush off (he said he had to go to another property) so that I could read the contract, but being woken up by the doorbell and being in a sleepy haze combined with his rushed insistence that I could cancel when I wanted led me to sign a contract when I shouldn't have. <br /> Don't make my mistake. Or do, maybe (hopefully) your situation will be different. <br />"

"Great. I was not there when they did the actual work but there were no complications or disputes. I liked working with the man who originally came to give a bid. He was very professional and he followed through with what he said. If more companies had people who believed in the service aspect of a business, then people like me would have less headaches. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"I had asked for someone to come out and help me assess problems with my system. I called the owner to clarify that I needed someone that could help me assess the system when the technician showed up. The owner started yelling at me over the phone. The technician replaced the sprinkler and looked at the control panel. He wanted to replace the whole control panel. I did not feel that was needed. <br /> <br />Owner did call me after I posted the review and offered to refund my money or make it right. We did discuss my opinion that the initial call needs to be answered by someone more knowledgeable and that the owner should better handle upset customers on the phone. I did not accept the refund. <br />"
