"In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."

"The owner, Rich Mawry, spent over an hour discussing our property and what we needed to do with our landscape. He was informative, knowledgeable, and professional. His knowledge of trees is impressive. Our major concern was bark missing from the base of a white ash in the front yard. Rich explained that the injury was not harming the tree and that we did not need to address it at present. We discussed what needed to be done regarding removing some of the ash, cedar, and white pine branches that were growing too close to the house and over the roof and chimney. He explained why we needed to cable two of the trees. He agreed that the burning bush needed trimming, and that the small holly (which they did for free) and trunk of the black pine were not benefiting the landscape. He recommended that in the spring, we spray our hemlocks in the back yard as a defense against insect infestation. His estimate was very reasonable, and we set a date for the work to be done. His workers arrived on time and went over with us again what was to be done. They spent about four hours with the work, which was expertly completed. They took great care to do exactly what we wanted. Their clean up was superb. Rich stopped by to check on their work, but could not stay because another job needed a new piece of equipment. He did stop by later that day to go over the tree work and inspect the job. I found this company to be excellent with regard to customer relations, knowledge of their craft, professionalism, and friendliness."
