While Pat's quote was quite a bit higher, our desire to keep the character of our home's original plaster craftsmanship, to reduce the interruption, and the amazing reviews here led us to pick Pat. He was always available by phone and a pleasant person to have in our home. Of course, most important, a thorough, professional and beautiful job on fixing the ceiling and cleaning up after/keeping our place clean. He not only re-cleaned our flue that had just been done but installed a new flue into our badly constructed chimney. Even after having to cut into our chimney 2x to get the flue to fit he stuck to his original quote. After speaking with Greg the company owner about his competitive bid and what I was hoping to achieve, his very talented crew[s] proceeded with the work in August. Great workmanship. When I had a specific question, concern or suggestion Greg or his crew chief listened and addressed each satisfactory. I was pleased with the solutions they brought to the work on matters I brought up with Greg during our initial talks. To his credit, he did inform me that his estimate would probably be higher than other estimates I would receive. I decided to go with Josh because I felt he was honest, how he communicated with me and because he was available via telephone. Unlike other drywall contractors, who did not show up or were very flaky with the communication. Josh started the work on time and finished when he said he would be complete. Josh did a great job with my ceilings. The drywall was installed, taped, and sanded. I was very impressed with the work they did and I would absolutely hire him again.
