"While I was interviewing roofing contractors to reroof my hail damaged roofs, my son mentioned that I should also consider meeting with Advanced Roofing and Construction, based on his recent experience with them, and I am glad that I did, for the reasons that follow. I highly recommend Advanced Roofing & Construction for the excellent job they did on the replacement of my hail damaged home and standalone garage roofs. In particular, I commend them for their knowledge and expertise related to the requirements and process to achieve a Fortified High Wind & Hail Impact Resistant roof meeting Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) standards. Having this certification allowed me to obtain a significant reduction on my Home Owners Insurance policy. Working with Advanced Roofing was much easier than I expected, considering the specialized nature of the High Wind & Hail Resistant asphalt roofs they installed. The Owner was very involved in the process for the more complicated aspects, and he gave me a good comfort level that he and his team knew what they were doing and how they would meet IBHS Fortified Roof requirements. Another aspect of this project that I very much liked, was not having to turn-off my A/C during the reroofing process, as other roofing contractors required, using Advanced Roofing’s innovative approach. Considering the unusually hot summer we experienced, this was a huge blessing. Onsite supervision of the work crews and work processes were essential to me. I did not have to involve myself directly with the roofers, as I had seen with my neighbors and their roofing contractors. The onsite supervision was excellent and very responsive to my concerns. They kept my yard (worksite), safe and clean. My questions and comments were followed-up and followed-through in a timely manner. The entire work process was well organized and the work teams were very professional and courteous throughout the reroofing process. They cleaned up the work debris concurrent with the deroofing and reroofing processes and ran magnets throughout the work area to retrieve nails and screws and other metal debris ongoing throughout the project. "The contract session was with Stephan Boyer. He was very through and informative. We knew exactly what we were getting and what to expect. Chris Renda and his crew showed up as promised. They showed up with all materials and immediately started work. The crew took no breaks and barely took time for lunch.. Chris Renda kept us infomed of everything going on.He found that our dormers had not been wrapped or waterproofed so he removed all the siding and began wrapping and waterproofing the dormers for us! The crew took 5 days of hard nonstop work installing our beautiful new patina green metal roof. We are completely satisfied! !

"Sam and the crew did an excellent job, and provided the most positive experience with a construction company I have ever had. When I initially inquired about an estimate, I was contacted the same night and subsequently received a free on-site estimate the very next day. They were very willing to work around my schedule and minimize any inconvenience to me. They were extremely punctual and always returned any phone calls or communications, and did an outstanding job. They did not half-do anything, and cut no corners. The flooring was installed perfectly, with minimal waste, and in a timely manner. All the trim work was done quickly and efficiently, and compliments the work on the flooring. They went above and beyond to provide a positive experience. They were also extremely helpful in offering advice on anything they noticed throughout the course of the job. "David Francis showed up on time in his bright Cobalt blue truck, pulled out his telescoping ladder and walked about the roof. He inspected the roof all over, caulked a few spots, and flattened a vent boot corner that had curled up in a recent storm.  He came inside to look at the water stain, and explained that it was probably from a torrent of water going down the roof valley a couple of feet away with some small amount driven under the shingles by the wind. (This makes sense to me because the stain appeared after a harsh storm with unusual easterly winds on Oct 10-11, while no further water damage appeared after major storms the following week with westerly winds.)
He was happy to explain what he was looking for in terms of roof condition and construction methods, and what makes for a good roofing job. He would have recommended painters to deal with the water stain had I asked him.
I was happy with his prompt response in scheduling the inspection, and his punctuality and professionalism.  I didn't rate the price because it was an Angie's List Big Deal, nor the quality because the repairs were so minor. It was well worth the $49 for peace of mind.
