"Brent and his guys were the best! I am exceedingly happy I selected them to replace my septic tank. This was a major project for me that had the potential to delay the sale of our home. Brent & company came in with the knowledge, equipment and skills that were required to complete the job professionally and efficiently. There was a couple of unforeseen issues but Brent was able to resolve them without batting an eye! He also absorbed the added costs on his own even though I offered to split the difference. I had contacted a number of other firms top do this job and Brent came back with the most professional and detailed quote. He then came out promptly for a site survey- something most of the others did not deem necessary. The thicker your slab, the less area one yard of concrete will cover.
The shelf life of concrete depends on whether it's wet or dry. Ready-mixed concrete in its wet form lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours after water is added, so it is essential to schedule your delivery carefully. Bags of dry concrete mix can last several months if stored properly in a cool, dry place. Moisture exposure can cause the cement to harden or lose strength over time.
An average concrete truck can hold between eight and 11 cubic yards of concrete, although some larger trucks can carry up to 15 cubic yards.
