They removed the old, cracked concrete (turns out there was a lot more concrete than they expected, resulting in a 10% cost increase) and replaced it with asphalt. The job went smoothly, and Peter, who supervised the work, communicated with us dailt so we knew exactly what would happen when. From beginning to end the job lasted about a week. The new asphalt looks good so far (it's mid May), and I have every reason to believe it will stay that way."
