"Excellent!! I would give John my highest recommendation. My back yard was in bad shape, basically unusable. John removed the old chain link fence along with all the sod, pavers and concrete. He replaced the grass with a beautiful 35 ft x 50 ft sport court. I asked John if he could build a wood privacy fence around the court. I couldn't find a contractor willing to do both the concrete and the fence. While John doesn't specialize in fences, he said "no problem". I also asked John if he could break up, remove and replace my old driveway and patio. Again "no problem, happy to do so". Both the sport court and driveway were large pours, 20+ yards each. John's crew did a great job and took great care to assure the slabs were perfect. John is a perfectionist and it showed in all of his work. John has an excellent work ethic and he always showed up on time and was always at the house when he said he would there!! In addition John finished the project early. It took less time than he had estimated. It was a big project and it completely transformed my back yard. John's prices were very reasonable and were SIGNIFICANTLY less than other bids. I added a few extras along the way that we hadn't planned on and they were all very affordable. The quality of John's work is impeccable. He is a true craftsman and artist. While John specializes in concrete, he really went above and beyond building the cedar fence. It is beautiful and incredibly well built. My neighbors are all impressed as well!"

"PROS: Venly came out the same day I contacted him and was able to give me a quote for my new backyard patio idea. 2 days later his team was installing the new concrete patio. We were even able to add on a concrete pathway that led from my patio to my garage door on the back side of my house. All of the concrete was poured, textured and colored on the first day. They work hard and are very fast at the demo of existing concrete and grass. They did a good job with removing the old materials and packing up all of their gear once the concrete was poured. CONS: Pouring concrete in the beginning of spring proved a bit challenging however since the weather never wanted to cooperate. It took a while for his team to come back out and seal the concrete due to the rainy weather. They put on a thick layer of the sealant and didn't do the best job making sure it was spread out evenly and I had a few puddle spots where the sealant pooled up. Also, there are a few foot print marks on my concrete that must have been imprinted on the concrete as they were laying down the stamped concrete patterns and walking on them. They are not super noticeable but they are there in places. Lastly the pattern they added to the concrete was a slate type pattern, in certain areas it looks really good and was worth the money, in other spots it doesn't look quite as nice, but still looks decent. Conclusion: If you want a job done quickly and at a decent price, Island concrete will be able to get you what you need."

"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

"Joseph and his crew were delightful and professional to work with. I wanted a stamped concrete driveway and Joseph took time to throughly explained to me the color and seal options. They came in leveled and graded my drive hauled away some dirt and broken concrete set the forms and finished the site prep all in one day They returned a day later poured and finished my 73 foot long 15 foot wide driveway on one day. They returned a day later to clean up, remove forms and apply the sealer. Upon their departure they left behind nothing but a beautiful Roman slate textured driveway! In the end I could not be happier! My driveway looks great and literally sparkles as if it was natural slate! Just as Joseph promised! You won't be disappointed!"
