"Several issues with his workmanship - most minor but when you have to replace a light fixture shade because it was broken, the plumbing that HAD an access door is no longer there, the toilet was slanting...... The worse thing was that he was supposed to replace the sub floor and didn't. My house was built in the 50's and I knew he wasn't going to do it so I came home early - you could see he was shocked and to top it off I had my neighbor with me because she knew the issues I was having. He made up some excuse that he wanted to surprise me so 'please don't look at it yet'. Well, while he was in the garage we looked at it and the only surprise that I got was that he didn't give me a new sub floor or even lay that pink layer over the sub floor.....I asked him SEVERAL TIMES to come and fix it but the only thing he fixed was the toilet. THEN, he returned the tile I BOUGHT and returned the unused portion and kept the money! I paid, in addition, for the sink tile, paint, light fixture, mirror, and sink faucet; in addition to the package special that Angie's list had running. If you hire this guy.....you better plan on being there the whole time!!!!"

"Removal of carpeting and parquet was done quickly. Even though the house has an open floor plan, they covered off the rest of the house to keep dust from spreading. The installation was quick as well. When taking care of an existing squeak, the sub-floor was screwed down which caused a slight but noticeable step in the middle of the entry way. There were also some other minor problems. Kelly personally came to the house to review these problems and all were taken care off within a week. <br />"

"Roof had leaked and left water damage on the ceiling in my entryway. I had the roof repaired months in advance, and called in Mike of CNY Drywall to handle the water damage to the ceiling. Ceiling is made of plaster. Mike told me he was going to chisel out the sections that had extensive damage and refill them to bring them flush with the rest of the ceiling. Mike did an excellent job, the ceiling looks brand new, and no one would ever guess there was previously water damage, (especially to the extent of the damage) it really does look like a completely new ceiling I had other quotes on the damage/repair and Mike offered me a solution that really fit with my budget and helped me out a great deal, which I'm very thankful for. He asked if I had found him on Angie's list, which I had not, and went on to tell me of a promotion he was running that cost $99 and covers $200 worth of work. This was amazing, and I'm so thankful that he mentioned that to me."

"Hired Weaver Construction to remodel an unfinished basement.  Found Steve on Angie's list and also Facebook.  I hired Steve for his professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.  He is a one stop shop.  What really sold me was his personal attention to the project.  Steve isn't a contractor who has a huge crew and has multiple projects going at one time.  So when your project is going on that's his main focus.  He doesn't sub contract out unless he absolutely has to.  Case in point.  The town required for the permit an extra fresh air intake into the HVAC.  Steve did an excellent job hooking into existing HVAC.  We are very pleased at our newly finished space.  I would hire Steve again for another project.  Steve was very punctual and I was always able to get a hold of him for any questions or concerns.  Project was estimated to take 4-6 weeks and was done in 3!"

"The sales person was a bit pushy, but answered all of my questions.  I got several quotes, and before I made a decision, he called me quite often, and I felt like he was pressuring me.  In his defense, he did come out with the owner to take a look at my roof, inside and out and answered my questions.  I needed a tear off, and it was a difficult decision on whether to tear off the old roof, or go with the metal over the existing layers.  After I made the decision to go with them, it was more difficult to get the sales person's attention. <br /> The guys who did the actual installtion were very professional and curteous.  They took the time to answer all of my questions and show me what they were doing.  They were meticulous and thorough.  All of them stand behind their product and work, which made me feel more confident.  Before they were done with the job, I knew I had made the right decision.  I couldn't ask for a better set of people. <br /> I have had two problems since the installation.  The first being I got new gutters from a different contractor.  When I called that contractor they told me it wasn't their problem, and to call the roofers.  When I called Metal Roof Outlet, they called me promptly and told me they would come out and install drip edge extensions, which they did within a day or two.  The second problem was finding a screw that was not flush with the roof a couple of months after installation.  Again, someone answered my concern with a phone call and then a visit within a few days.  They are quick to respond and resolve issues. <br /> I have yet to go through a winter with the new roof, but I'm confident it will withstand the weather.  If I had to do it again, I would definitely go with the Metal Roof Outlet. <br />"
