Proper drainage lines installed to channel water run off away from the house. Beautiful new colored & stamped concrete was installed. "It went great! What was once just dirt and weeds is now beautiful land and hardscape! Roney was very responsive to our requests and ideas and quickly came back with a design we were exited to get implemented. Within a few days a full crew was on-site to start the work. As the work started there were a few areas where his foreman Juan recommended modifications. These modifications were very positive and above and beyond the original agreement and at no additional cost to us, which made my husband very happy! Those included replacement of 3 steps to our deck from wood to concrete, increased length of the sidewalk, improved fencing beyond the original design, some additional irrigation work and fixing the base of another set of stairs to regulation height by adding flagstone. Juan had great vision for how to make these changes so the outcome went from beautiful to outstanding! And the crown jewel of this whole project is a custom, unique fire pit that I found only as a picture from the internet. Juan pulled this off with no formal instructions, just a solitary picture and his own creativity! We could not be happier and certainly recommend Babylon Garden Landscaping."

They ripped out 3 tree stumps, removed my river rock, laid new irrigation, installed a new sprinkler controller, laid new sod, laid turf, repaired my concrete that was lifted by tree roots, built a pergola. "I used Building Expressions to remodel our master bathroom in 2011 and again in 2012 for a portion of our kitchen remodeling. We have a custom built home and we were looking for a top quality job.   Paul's significantly underestimated the amount of work required and therefore the cost.  The job cost substantially more than his original estimate, but we feel the price paid was consistent with the effort required.  

Paul is very knowledgeable and for the most part the quality of his work was good.  He had to deal with some complex issues relating to installing impact sliding doors and ultimately came up with creative solutions.

The job was supposed to be done in about 7 or 8 weeks, but instead took six months.  Paul selected an engineer for the plans who made numerous mistakes which delayed the Miami-Dade County inspections at every step in the process.  Paul did a poor job in reviewing the plans and in resolving the issues with the inspections.  Because of the delays in completing the job, Paul starting working on new jobs so our job became a nuisance for him.  For months he and/or his workers would come to our house at the end of the work day or on the weekends.  We had to resolve most of the permit issues with with the county by obtaining revised engineering plans and by meeting with the permitting officials.  I had to go to the county permit office six times and each plan revision cost us $100+ in fees and several wasted hours of my time.

Overall, Paul is competent and a very nice guy.  He would be great for remodeling simple kitchen and bathrooms.  However, our project was large and complex and we were unhappy with how long it took to complete."
