"Our project was very detailed and difficult. The facade of the home has a semicircular porch with railings and balusters across the roof of the porch. All the balusters had to be replaced (a total of 36). This required precise attention to detail and skill. The task was completed, in our opinion, to perfection. Trim around nine dormers of the house had to be replaced, There were 18 new pilasters that were put on the nine dormers. The look is very appealing and again that project was done with precision. Other more minor repairs were completed very satisfactorily. There are additional projects in need of repair and replacement for which we anticipate that Zenith Home Restoration will be our contractor of choice."

"It was messy but that is to be expected when working on sheet-rock and carpentry. The work itself turned out very well. The job was to enlarge two closets, repair wood and sheet-rock, install two large doors with mirrors, casing, and paint. Good carpentry work; we had a couple of problems but he immediately asked what we thought and did not try to cover or hide the imperfection. Mr Tolbert was willing to redo a part that was not perfect - his suggestion. That, perhaps, is the most important quality: if something is not right, he will tell you, discuss ways to improve, and redo if necessary. He brought a helper to paint two rooms and the helper too was very professional. I would definitely hire him again to do carpentry, painting and other handyman work. My only 4 star instead of 5 was because it took him a while to get back to me with an estimate and a possible start day - that could be because he is overwhelmed with work. We had expected 4 days of work: 1 per closet, and 1 per painted room. He finished in 3 days (once he got a helper it went faster)."

I selected them because instead of bringing out a salesperson to take pictures and just record everything, they actually sent out people that did the work. And my ceiling looks fabulous! It is natural looking wood now and I just love it! I enjoyed working with him and getting this accomplished in my home. He was available to answer any question I had.
