I have moved around the country quite a bit so you have to be careful when choosing a moving company and recommend if they are not on the BBB A+ rating list don't use them. Almost went with another company until I checked out the BBB review on them, nothing but horror stories so be careful choosing and I would recommend National. This was a cross-country move, and it would have required several trips if we had rented a truck and moved ourselves, and the cost would have been almost as much. We were pleasantly surprised at the end of the move when the final price was significantly less than the estimate."

"Every portion of the move is contracted out: the guy that comes to do home survey and estimate, movers that load the truck, the driver, the movers that unload the truck. These are all different entities, not a single cohesive company. There is no central coordination or continuity in service. It was the cheapest quote we received and it showed when the job was done. The surveyor was nice when at the home and helpful, but not available to take my calls or answer questions after that. The move coordinator was short, indifferent and rude with a smile. I would avoid this company if possible."
