I also had them replace several rotten wood trim pieces on my house. They stained and sealed our new deck and painted the new trim boards on my house. Jim does excellent work and will call him for our next project."

"When I need to replace my wooden privacy fence two years ago, Robert came out and provided a detailed plan for the removal and installation of the new fence. The project was scheduled on my timeline and the guys who did the work were very skilled and had excellent customer service. I have been pleased with the fence since that time but recently need some planks replaced and called Robert. He came out and looked at the fence and within two business days, I had someone at my house replacing the planks and per Robert, no charge. You never get this treatment from any company these days so I will commit to being their customer and continue to recommend this company (and Robert)."

He stained our deck and rails in two days and the transformation was incredible! We had a coupon for $299 but since the size of our deck exceeded the size for the coupon, we paid more for the additional square feet. It was well worth the cost! "Ryan and Tyler (owners) gave us exactly what we envisioned for the fencing around our 3-acre property.  We wanted low maintenance, didn't want to paint the fence every couple of years, wanted to keep the dog in and critters & deer out, wanted an elegant front fence line, and and flexibility for moving around the property with scattered gates.  Ryan and Tyler explained the choices and cost of materials and the maintenance requirements of each.  Before we signed the contract we knew that galvanized fencing and posts were the most expensive option as was the decorative front fence panels with a 20-year guarantee on the powder-coated finish.  The 12-foot powder-coated sliding gate they would build to match the decorative front fence panels would also be costly due to the height and size of the gate.  After we coughed up a lung at the total price, we looked at the cost to paint the fence every couple of years vs going with quality products from the beginning and decided to bite the bullet from the start vs paying to have the fence painted periodically.    The adage you get what you pay for holds true in this case. <br /> The project took about 2 months to complete due to persistent rains, the lead-time on ordering the decorative fence panels, and allowing the concrete for the posts to harden before moving to the next step.  The work crews were professional and worked h****** the project.  Every little detail was attended to - from the type of latches on the various gates to closing up any small gaps where corner posts met to adding additional braces to make the fence strong for the long-haul.  We had initial glitches with the driveway gate operations and Ryan and Tyler were quick to resolve the issues.    <br /> Overall, we are extremely happy with Hill Country Fence and Ranch.  The company is run by two very talented young men who know how to get things done.  They take pride in doing quality work. <br />"

The bid given was for $4000. We had delayed getting back to them about whether we were going to have them do the fence, but they called back two days ago and asked if there was anything we needed for the estimate. "Working with JR was a simple, no nonsense and professional experience from start to finish. We wanted some kind of shade for our uncovered patio. JR came over, listened to what we were looking for, and came up with some options and a plan. JR‘s quote was right in line with, or less expensive than other quotes we had received. We ended up going with an approximately 30x12 cedar arbor. Once we settled on a day to get the arbor installed, JR and his crew came over on the scheduled day, and was on time. He and his crew were very professional and friendly, and they were very efficient. What I thought would be a multi day job was completed in one day. As for the results, the arbor is beautiful. It really does provide significant shade. It is as if we have a covered patio, but with the benefit of having air circulate more freely. We love our arbor and highly recommend JR for any arbor, deck, or other wood work job. He does excellent, professional work at a fair price."
