"We bought a new house that did not have adequate kitchen cabinet space.  Dan set up a time to look at what we wanted to do and give us a bid.  The thing I appreciated the most about working with Dan apart from the quality of his work, was Dan's honesty.  He has no interest in wasting either his or your time.  Dan recommended making some changes to the granite counter top which we hadn't considered.  He also suggested a freestanding hutch as opposed to built in cabinets, which made sense for what we wanted to do.  We decided to have Dan make us the hutch, a window seat, and a bookshelf all out of walnut. <br /> There were some delays in production, but again Dan was honest and explained the situation.  In all the work took about a month.  The person Dan sub-contracted the granite counter top work out to did an amazing job.  You would never know there were changes made to the granite. <br />  In the end we got three exceptional pieces handcrafted woodwork.  The walnut they used is beautiful, and the quality of the work is outstanding.  The pieces they created have become my favorite part of our house.  Our guests always comment how beautiful the work is as well.  I will use DC for all of my work in the future. <br />"

He ran out of time to do the final step in one project that we had discussed, but the work he did was great and it ended up looking great anyway. We had him come back a few days later to do a separate repair on a light fixture and he got it done super quick. Would hire again."
