They lay concrete at two different locations; one project was a slap of concrete (7 by 6 feet) with a four-foot-high brick wall built. They also built two brick steps. I’m extremely pleased with their professionalism and great job done. They deserve 5 stars rating. I would recommend them to anyone."

"This was not your basic driveway pour. The backyard has a lot of slope and required some ingenuity in design. All other contractors said I would need to install at least one step in the middle of a 65 foot patio. Bill (Orr Concrete) was the only contractor that listened to what I wanted and figured out how to make it work. It was a lot of extra work for his team but they executed it flawlessly. WE also had Bill create a lower patio (three steps down from the main patio). This required a lot of fill dirt and rock plus a retaining. We had the guys cover the wall with engineered stone inside and out. There was an issue with the material provided to bill for the colored stamp. Bill took one look and immediately said ; we are gonna re-pour the lower patio. It looks fantastic! This is a testament to Bills attention to customer service and quality. He stayed in constant contact, keeping me advised on schedule (working around rain and such) next steps. I had work I needed to do (irrigation relocation and installation) which he helped me coordinate during the various project phases. As I said, this was a tougher project so if you need a great design for a patio of just a simple driveway install, give Bill at Orr Concrete a call. He will take good care of you."

Mr. Henley made suggestions, and offered to do other incidentals, which added beauty to the job he was doing. Each of his men worked together like a professional team that's known each other for years. At times, one of the men would need something, and the other person working with him handed him the tool. It was like watching a team of surgeons, with a lead. The Michael Henley, Jr. has learned from his father how a professional example he needs to keep business moving. I was impressed, and I've never seen a team of contrete workers do a huge job in a 2 day period, but HCF and Construction, LLC had the job finished by sundown on the 2nd day. It was shocking. His company is well worth the fee he asks for his services. I'll have him come back again and again, because I know I can depend on him. "We are extremely happy with the work Robert and his crew did for us. The job was started on schedule, completed within the estimated time-frame (only three days!), and the crew cleaned up after themselves very well. Each crew member was polite and helpful with answering any questions we had about the job. And Robert was very accessible and was at the jobsite every day. One of the things I really appreciate about working with Royal Landscaping is that Robert didn't pressure us into going any particular direction, but provided design input every time we asked him. We've worked with several contractors on home projects over the years, and it's often difficult to get them to share professional opinions and provide honest feedback about our ideas. I know I'm the homeowner and I'm paying for it, but when I ask the professional who does this for a living for suggestions or feedback on my ideas, I really don't want to hear "we can do whatever you want"! So I really appreciate the fact that Robert willingly provided his input throughout the project and helped us with the design element. And I readily admit that every single suggestion he had turned out to be excellent. Pintrest and Google are great, but that info isn't specific to my application. So when it comes time to do something of this scope, I want to rely on a bit more than internet pictures. He's also very knowledgeable about his profession and thoroughly answered all of our questions (I was particularly concerned about drainage in our hilly yard). We also had Robert's team do the sod in the back, and he provided a certificate for the grass (I'd never even heard of that before) when he gave us lawncare instructions. They put down pinestraw as well and even relocated several of my plants when building the retaining walls. Also, when building the wall, the crew needed to relocate an existing underground drain pipe. The old pipe was of low quality and had holes, so they replaced it with a better-functioning and better-quality pipe. Finally, Robert gave us the best price/value out of the four companies we got quotes from. We initially were going to go with a different type of stone for our retaining wall, but after seeing the Heritage Block Royal Landscaping offers, we decided to go with that. And we're very glad we did. It's head and shoulders above other products we've seen. After our project was completed, my neighbor across the street said he plans on calling Robert to do work for him. And within this first week of it being done, three other neighbors from different streets in our community have stopped by our house to talk about our new retaining walls and how nice they look! When a vendor doesn't live up to expectations or standards, I actively voice my complaints. And when a vendor/company performs exceptionally well, I like to acknowledge that just too. I rely on reading reviews to help me make decisions about what companies or products are best, so I hope this review helps others. I don't know if Angie's List has any kind of messaging system for members, but if so, feel free to send me any questions you may have about this company. I realize this is a glowing review, but it was a smooth process and we really had no problems or complaints. Robert seemed just as concerned as I was about ensuring my project was done right and was of high quality. I'd definitely hire them in the future."
