"We are very pleased with L&R on all the projects that we have had completed in our yard. All the projects were well planned, designed and installed with care and respect to our property. They have done multiple landscaping projects that have improved our yard, including regrading, new shrubs, stone path, granite stone steps in the back yard up to a raised bed garden on the most difficult berm. Also installed brick side walk and under ground drains for rain run off, and replaced our deck with a two level deck and stairway. This past spring we called on them to do a yard cleanup and mulch refresh throughout the yard. The latest project was a some what emergency call when we had to have a new electric service installed, and as part of that work a growing rod had to be installed which required part of our paver sidewalk to be removed and reinstalled. They responded quickly, and made a problem disappear. Everyone at L&R is very professional, friendly and efficient from inception to completion and we will continue to rely on them for any and all projects for us and highly recommend them for any projects big or small."

"Our concrete walkway had cracked badly over the winter, our rock beds looked terrible and our old railroad ties used for edging were rotting and out of place from snowplowing. Josh got a couple of options to me very quickly and after I chose one was able to start work within a few days. He brought out several examples of pavers to look out and pick from . His crew got the work done in two days, and Josh saw to the details, coming out several times to inspect and make improvements. The crew was polite and neat - cleaned up very well afterward. Josh did not collect final payment until he came out an did a walk through with me. He has pride of workmanship and made some changes to improve the final look that we had not even noticed."

"They did a great job. We needed two brick light posts repaired/replaced and Ben, the owner, came out and went over our options and gave us a prompt bid that was a reasonable price. When we decoded to have them do it the process was so easy and automated that it didn't take any time at all to sign the contract and get the work arranged. They even moved us up on the schedule and had the work done in two days. We replaced the posts, and they look so good that they could have been there since the house was built. The clean up after they had finished was great and they even replaced some of the dirt and added grass seed to the area to cover anything they had to dig up. I highly recommend them for any masonry work you may need."

I had so much trouble even getting estimates for this job (other companies either never called back or looked at it and refused to bid on it because they were too busy or the job was too small) but Joe came out and gave me a good estimate and was able to complete the work within 4 weeks. His team kept my yard clean, set up the scaffolding with great respect to my neighbors property (there is only 8-10 feet between our houses and they were able to rig their equipment to keep my neighbors sidewalk and door unblocked — other companies said it couldn’t be done!), and did a great job fixing my chimney and tuckpointing areas that needed attention on my all brick 1940s facade.
