"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"Excellent work! Having just bought a house we weren't sure how old the roof was but knew it needed something. Tyler came out and gave us some options and price ranges but never pressured us into anything. If anything, he suggested some cheap alternatives to patch potential problems! The price was under other estimates and fit our budget so we decided to replace the roof. Deciding to work with E-roof was easy and convenient. Tyler was super responsive and clear about the work window they had available. He was on-site multiple times to go over options and answer questions. The roofing team showed up early and was attentive to detail, replacing the needed boards and installing new vents and shingles to better protect our home. "I was in a rather unique situation in that my insurance company told me that I had to get a new root, at my expense, or they would no longer cover our home. The roof was 25 years old but we had no problems with it. Needless to say, it was an unexpected expense during times with things are financially getting harder. Thus, I asked around, relying on word of mouth, for about a month and found a few so-called contractors who said that they would do the job, but unfortunately, the way they conducted their business destroyed my confidence. I needed someone who I felt I could trust, who had the right credentials, prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I turned to Angie's list and found Higgins Construction.

From the beginning Mike was very professional and did everything that he said he would do when he said he would do it. Mike came out to my home for an estimate the first day I called. I told him of the other quotes I had received and he offered a very competitive price. The quote was for 3-tab asphalt shingles, due to the fact that I was trying to get the job done for the least amount of money, without compromising my home. He offered to due lifetime architectural shingles for an extra $100. I signed the contract on that deal because I realized how good a deal it was for the total price being charged. When the workers showed up they arrived before 7:00 am and were done around 5:00 pm.  They were fast, focused and personal. They cleaned up well, spared the flowers and shrubs, picked up all the nails and cleaned up as if they were never there. I was really pleased to have such a great job done at such a  low price. Everyone I talk , who knows about roofing cost, said I got a great deal.

In light of that, I highly recommend Higgins Construction for anyone who is looking for good work, professional, at a reasonable price."

"I cleaned the gutters to make sure that wasn't contributing to the problem so when the problem continued with the heavy rains I called Tom and left a message. He called later that evening and left a message. I returned his call the following morning and left another message. He left another message stating he would get back to me to let me know when he could come out. Four days went by (over a weekend) before ain't heard from him again. He left a message that he would be at my house at 9:00 the following morning. He showed up at 10:00. During this time I also contacted the other business partner. He was driving when I called so he said he would return my call within a half hour. I never heard from him again. The original experience I had with this company was outstanding. They were prompt, professional and their work was excellent. I truly appreciate Tom coming to recognize that I failed to clean a small downspout and hopefully rectifying my problem. He didn't charge anything for the 10-15 minutes he was here. However, I was frustrated with the communication issues and his tardiness in arriving an hour late when he finally came. It seems to me that improving this one area of his business would drastically improve customer satisfaction.
