Small jobs welcome

"We leave lived in our home 10 years now and things have grown a lot in that time. Lou provided recommendations and removal of some landscape. Lou is delightful! Kind, honest, prompt, dependable. We will be having him back in the late fall to trim back the remaining landscape for our once again, manicured look."

"They accommodated me by getting my turf installed before my irrigation water is turned off. Their team of maybe eight people worked and got my old turf removed along with the existing soil underneath, laid 2 inches of topsoil and new turf on 1800 square-foot lawn in a day and a half. Good work."

"What a terrific company!! If there were seven stars I'd give Chuck, Jaleene and crew the highest marks. Removed concrete and re-poured new patio, hard-scape walkways and pad around shed. Re-installed landscape system around concrete work. Extremely professional, courteous respectful, ahead of time, competitively priced and worked around unpredictable weather. Highly recommended!!!!"

FAQs for landscape soil, sand, mulch and rock delivery projects in Horseshoe Bend, ID

Topsoil packs your garden with the nutrients plants crave, improves soil structure, and lets water drain at just the right pace. The result is a welcoming planting bed that makes routine chores—like weeding and aerating—far easier. In short, quality topsoil boosts fertility, builds stronger root systems, and keeps your landscape looking vibrant season after season.

If you’re tackling a large area and have room to store extra soil, bulk delivery almost always wins on price. Bags cost more per cubic yard but arrive clean, sealed, and easy to haul around tight spaces or raised beds. Match the option to your square footage, storage space, and muscle power, and you’ll find the most cost-effective and hassle-free choice for your project.

First, measure the square footage you want to cover, then decide on a layer—most gardens thrive with 4 to 8 inches of fresh topsoil. A 40-pound bag spreads over 12 square feet at a depth of one inch. Multiply your area by the desired depth (in inches), divide by 12, and you’ll know exactly how many bags to load in the cart. Using this quick formula guarantees even coverage and a healthy, vibrant garden bed.
