"Ron was very responsive and professional and provided a detailed estimate of the job. I asked several other companies for quotes. He has been busy lately and gave me an estimate of time availability for the job( was 4-6 weeks). When that time came, he was able to do the job a little earlier than anticipated. I decided to wait be of his professionalism and pricing, which was very competitive and overall fair. He has an employed team and they did a good job and left no mess. I am happy with the quality of the work. My only other comment would be is that if you decide to make changes to the job during the process ask for the estimate changes up front as he works with a 'foreman' partner who didn't always keep me up to speed as I would have liked. But Ron was accommodating and very nice about the whole process and if you have any issues just email,txt or call him and he will sort it out."

"Called Mike's Complete Landscaping this year for Spring cleanup, tree trimming, setting a stone path, gravelling one end of the yard, and adding mulch and more color to the gardens. This is the hardest working team I've ever seen, with seemingly endless energy. They arrive early and get to work right away. At the end of the day they check the sprinklers and do a beautiful cleanup. And we are extremely pleased with the transformation!! Great company. Great people."

"Cesar and Carlos are the BEST! I have used their services multiple times. Installation of drainage system in back yard, flowerbed reconstruction, paver blocks installed for 4 beds in back including fresh dirt and plants. They also created a paver patio and did same for my front porch. I recently called then to correct blunders left by a tree service that destroyed my yard. They cleaned up the mess, created block borders fir 3 more beds, trinmed my large oak tree in front, and placed sand in holes left in yard by other group. They are timely, communicative, do great work, and leave not a trace behind. I would recommend them for ANY outside yard service you need! A+ company!!"

"I have engaged Backyard's Plus regularly since they did my landscaping a few years ago. I have been pleased with the initial landscaping project 5-6 years ago, as well as the weekly yard service that they perform. The owner, Joey Rodriguez, came out to work up the initial landscaping design and to manage the installation. I had a few landscapers come to the house to submit their designs, but Joey was the only one who understood what I was looking for and prepared a plan to satisfy my expectations. The crew that comes out regularly does a great job. I have been very satisfied with all of the work that Backyard's Plus has done for me. They are good people, who provide excellent service."

"Great. We had a consultation and described our vision for what we wanted (more color, something to make the back yard look less empty). We also had a few specific little problems like straightening our juniper that got knocked askew during Harvey. Alvin provided us with a detailed estimate. It did not have pictures but for me it was descriptive enough so that pictures were not needed. When we approved the estimate, Universal came in soon thereafter and completed the work in two days (including throwing in the little extras like our juniper situation). They also had someone check and adjust our sprinklers to make sure the new plants will get the water they need. The landscaping looks so good. We previously had a few rocks around our front flower beds; they brought in a lot more to line and raise the beds (which makes them look so much nicer), and added mulch as well as new plants. They also used our existing plants that still had life to them (they got rid of the dying ones per our request) and transplanted some of them to other areas in the yard. They installed a new flower bed behind the pool. Per our request, they planted some plants along the fence line to dress it up a little without obstructing the view behind our fence. They chose dwarf crepe myrtles, which I am excited about as a crepe myrtle fan. I can't stop wandering around my yard admiring everything. Of course, some of the plants (like the new dwarf crepe myrtles) are new and small, and will grow out over time, so I know it will look even better in the future. We are very happy, 100% satisfied."
