"We chose his company to do the work because of the price, the style of cabinet refacing, and the fact that we could chose our own stain color. Matt kept in touch through texting (which was nice). The workers showed up daily as stated. The cabinets are gorgeous and the finishing touches on the bar with the corbels are outstanding. We have received numerous compliments on our "new" cabinets. They even installed all of the hardware that was purchased separately and from another company. We couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Innovative Interiors."

"Doug really was the best part of our days with him! He is knowledgable, professional, courteous, affable, and a hard-worker. We love Doug and absolutely love his remodel. His suggestions and expertise brought about our collaborative vision! You cannot go wrong with Doug! As a professional contractor, he also removed walls, built new walls, and basically had his hands in every aspect of our whole remodel."

"<p>Our project was for a pergola to go over the patio at our new home. We wanted a large area shaded from the sun, but open to our back yard and while not obstructing our view. We wanted natural looking but durable, low maintenance materials that were resistant to rotting, infestation and the sun. From the start, Josh and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Our neighborhood has strict HOA landscaping requirements. Josh knew them well. After discussing the various materials and design goals, he worked up a detailed sketch that reflected exactly what we wanted. He did all of the necessary paperwork that had to be submitted to the HOA as well as the city for approval and permits. Everything went smoothly. Work progressed in a timely manner and his conscientious crew cleaned the area at the end of each day. </p> <p>We?re very satisfied with quality of the workmanship and attention to detail.  We feel we received  good value for the money spent. The result was a wonderful outdoor living space that we can enjoy year round. We highly recommend Josh and his crew for any home improvement you may be considering.</p> <br />"

"<br /> Mary Ellen and John came over and Mary Ellen told me that it would cost $225 to repair the two chips. <br /> They were in the house for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and worked their "magic" on the tub. I can only say not only were Mary Ellen and John fantastic, but Mary Ellen's work was beyond belief. Just tremendous. There is no way anyone can see where the chips were.....and they were ugly black chips. Mary Ellen found other areas in the tub that were scratched and she took care of them too. <br /> I've only had two other people in the area that I have used (Steve Schwartz electrician/owner of Angler Electric and Clinton Cardlin Owner of Creative Brothers...tile/granite.........both Steve and Clinton are on Angie's List) who were of Mary Ellen's caliber of work. <br /> Areas of Mary Ellen's expertise are (from her brochure): Restorative Repair Specialist/Hard Surface, Custom Color Matching, and Surfaces repaired----Fiberglass, cultured marble, acrylic, porcelain, formica laminate, wood and veneer, ceramic tile, and appliances. <br /> If you have the need for Mary Ellen's services, you will not be disappointed...you will be extremely happy!!! I just can't say enough good things about Mary Ellen's work.....absolutely tremendous"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Humboldt, AZ

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
