"Miroslaw did a great job.  He came out and performed a free estimate.  We were not sure if I had conduit running in between the different lights and switches, so he quoted me two different prices.  Initially I wanted to make sure that all communication went through Angie's list.  Once that was clear, his communication was clear and prompt, mostly in the evenings.  We were able to get the time scheduled within a few e-mails. 
When he came on site, he was professional.  He was able to isolate that the conduit was there, so it would be the cheaper price.  He validated that one of my face plates was broken before he started.  He did the work within 2.5 hour and cleaned up after himself. 
The price ended up being 100 per hour - some minor materials so it was not cheap, but you get what you pay for.  I also know that since this was a small job he had to make it worth his while to come out and do it.

"Great experience with Tim Slamans and his crew. They were very up front with their pricing and they did great work. I provided the decking materials (plastic lumber) and they provided the framing materials. I wanted to use a provider that knew how to work with this material and Slamans proved quite experienced. They tore out the old deck (joists and all) hauled it away and installed the new materials in a little over a week. They also kept the work site clean and power washed the deck when they completed the work. I would definitely use them again."

"I've used Power several times in the past and had no qualms using them again. They removed an Ash tree that was right next to our fence without any damage to the fence. They took down the tree in sections and cleaned up the ground after each section. The ground was a little soft so they kept their equipment on the driveway even though we said it would be alright to drive on the yard. They walked the extra yards to avoid damaging the lawn. When they were finished you could not tell that a tree had been removed as there weren't any sticks or sawdust laying in the grass.

"Ryan called to let me know he would be arriving in 20 mins. On time. Asked a few questions, removed the lock, found the problem and explained what he needed to do. Told me the cost would be $40 for the service call and $35 to repair the broken lock. Fixed the lock in his truck and was back in 10 minutes. Reinstalled the lock, accepted my check and was gone all in about 15 minutes. Ryan was extremely polite and gave me advise to not use graphite in the lock. WD40 only!"

"Half of their work is very good. The other half is mediocre. They patched, acid etched and coated our 58 year old concrete porch with polymer modified coatings. Less than 6 months later the coating is worn and chipping off. They acid etched and coated the garage floor and said it would probably crack someday. Someday was 3 weeks. They removed the old wrought iron railings and installed new aluminum railings whose angles and placement do not match. They still have not replaced the small railing gate protecting the basement stairs. They installed Unilock Pavers. The pavers are basically level. They were supposed to repair and reinstall our chain link fence gate. They dug out one post and reset it leaning north. The gate was worse than before they started. We had to pay someone else to fix it so that it stays closed. They removed and replaced the asphalt driveway and did an excellent job but we spent 2 weeks with the driveway dug down to the clay with machinery and debris everywhere. The two river rock sections are very well done. They work, when they please. They say “we’ll be here tomorrow” and finally show up days later with increasingly outrageous explanations. This project is not finished and we are very displeased with the quality of the work and the way that Uptime Builders do business."
