There is nothing standard about our 19th century house, Our roof had considerable challenges to which they found creative, effective solutions based on knowledge beyond standard contemporary building techniques. The work was done intensely, fast but carefully. The end result is beautiful They made a comprehensive inspection of the job and gave us a clear assessment and cost estimate. They explained elements of the job that could not be estimated ahead of time and during the work kept good communication with us on progress and changes to the work and timetable. The site manager had a very good relationship with their crew which created a positive work atmosphere. The crew were skilled, respectful and considerate of us and our neighbors, keeping our site clean and safe throughout."

"Rene is a total rip off. Paid top dollar for a snap lock standing seam metal roof. The whole process was a nightmare. 2 years after installation the whole roof top has been banging with drip edge lifting 2-3 inches on all sides. Facia is blowing off due to nails pulling out and not a single drop of adhesive or silicon. Soffit has blown off in multiple locations and all surface are warping. Beware he does not stand by his work even with written guarantee of all materials and workmanship. His words are nothing but lies "

"Their roofing crew stole my deer skull from the front of my house and it magically reappeared next to their van on the street after threatening to call the police. While stripping off the old roofing, they let the debris build up on my front bushes causing unrepairable damage. Unless you can speak Spanish you won't be able to communicate with their laborors and there is no boss working with them on site to help bridge the language barrier. They left scraps from their lunch around my front yard, avacado skins and shrimp tails and also cigarette butts, one of them smoked the whole time. The trim and gutters crews were fine but the cleanup after they were all done could have been better they left a decent amount of roofing nails and gutter screws even in plain sight in my driveway. Also had a couple of scheduling issues with material availability the attic insulation installers causing the project to be completed more than a week late. "

The Gualan Brothers have done an amazing job transforming our second home completely renewing our roof, new shingles, new siding, new windows and doors. They also removed a fireplace for us that needed to be gone. Also, our house had a back exterior wall on the second level that we noticed was bulging out and away from the house frame but thanks to Manuel the problem was corrected, fixed and resolved and I was able to get a good night sleep and peace of mind, thank you Manuel!
