"I contacted five tree removal companies to provide an estimate. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. Dave returned my call within a couple of days to set up for an estimate (worked completely around my schedule).  He showed up, promptly, on the day/time we arranged.  He provided me my estimate and we set up a day that worked for both of us for him to perform the job.
He contacted me two days later to let me know that he had a cancellation and asked if my schedule would allow him to come by sooner, to which I agreed.  He called me when he arrived (I was at work), asked if it was okay for him to do a bit of additional waste removal (and cutting down of some bushes).  He did only what I stated was okay to remove.
I arrived at home this afternoon and everything was completed, just as discussed and agreed.
Again, fantastic, reliable, prompt.  I will be contacting him again in the near future for some additional work.
