"We chose SureGuard even though we had better quotes from other companies because we were sold on promise that work would be completed by their crews and supervised by their foreman daily. We loved the idea of hiring a local business that uses their own crews. It was obvious once work began that SureGuard was subcontracting work to other companies, and they did not send their foreman with these crews. The paint crew arrived and didn’t seem to have a complete picture of the work to be performed. They were difficult to communicate with and we had questions about the quality of their workmanship. "Let me start by saying I live way out of their area. I emailed and asked if he'd consider taking a job outside of his normal area, Wes asked if I wouldn't mind sending pictures of the repair and he'd give a free estimate. I thought this was VERY reasonable considering I was looking for (3rd) estimate and don't expect anyone to make that drive just for a "look-see."
After sending detailed pictures of the repairs, Wes was able to identify ALL the issues brought up by the home inspection.
The reason I was looking for a 3rd estimate wasn't because of the quote, rather the first two contractors that came out (in person) didn't address the issues from the home inspector six weeks prior. (We just bought our house) And just from the pictures, Wes was able to identify all the problems including the main issue which was expanding the vents to allow proper ventilation of the attic. The old vents were just cosmetic pieces, and Wes suggested making them bigger so my house would be up to code.

Wes set up a time and date. Was punctual. Completed the job in 4 hours. Was VERY polite and answered all my questions/concerns. He even told me about some minor roof issues I had (Which was in the inspection as well) and recommended I get those fixed as soon as possible. They cleaned up perfectly.
