"John and his wife (Connie) came out 2 weeks later to replace my electrical panel and replace all of my lights in my kitchen and family room. The work they did was superb! John showed me that the panel was so old that it was actually burning/melting. He was also kind enough to talk with the company who replaced my countertops to explain that the work they did, loosened wires in my kitchen (which they claimed was impossible). Their work was outstanding and they explained everything that they were doing and why they were doing it. "Scott did an amazing job on our fence repair. Our wooden fence had some rotting posts and the fence was falling in as a result. Scott took out the rotting posts and replaced them with new ones. He cut the old posts into pieces so they would be ready to put out for trash pick-up. We had ropes holding up the fence, and he and his team removed those as part of the job. He is very service-oriented and did very high quality work!"

When the inspector came to approve the modifications, he noticed that Total Electric was my electrician and commented, “Jim does great work.” In my opinion, to have an inspector’s compliment is very high praise. I needed 1 of those 2 outlets for a bidet. Prior to my appointment, Jim asked some great questions about the bidet specs, the electrical panel, etc. that confirmed that I would need a dedicated circuit. He is very knowledgeable. When Jim arrived at my home, he found an unused dryer outlet and was able to cap off that outlet so he could use the existing circuit for the bidet, which saved me a lot of money. "The overhead and recessed light problems were readily fixed; the home theater problem was not a major electrical problem and was fixed by resetting a system surge protector; the four smoke alarms did need to be replaced. Resolution required two separate visits, one to assess issues and the second to install bulbs and smoke/carbon monoxide alarms after obtained. Steve was the electrician both times and he did a very good job - he was professional yet friendly and worked efficiently and quickly. I was very pleased overall."

Our original concrete steps and patio in the front entrance had been patched numerous times over the years but was now beyond repair. They did a great job constructing the trap rock boulder retaining wall along the driveway, and they meticulously built the walkway and steps leading from the driveway to the front patio. Once the construction was completed, they added path and landscape lighting, planted a few trees to soften the appearance of the stone steps, and reseeded the lawn. <br /> We really couldn't be happier with how the project turned out, and the neighbors are really impressed, as well!
