"We bought a 'fixer-upper' and of all the contractors (and we have worked with A LOT on this house) he is the top. He is prompt, he always follows through, his team works hard and gets the job done fast and well. If there are any concerns he comes out personally and takes care of them immediately. He is flexible and thinks on his feet. His pricing is very reasonable. There wasn't a thing that we didn't like about working with Nato and team. He is our official go to guy for landscaping and other projects. We trust Nato, his work and recommendations to us We would definitely recommend him to our friends. My husband found him on Angie's list and it was one of the best finds we have had in the 3 years we owned the house."

"CM Landscaping was excellent from start to finish of our project. We had a lawn put in our front and back yard with full sprinklers and landscaping done in the backyard. Fernando was amazing to work with. He made great suggestions for our yard and was courteous and professional. The work was done on schedule and looks great. CM provided exceptional service at a great price. Fernando scheduled a follow up to make sure the grass is taking and has been responsive to all questions. I would not hesitate to work with him again and I very highly recommend him and his company. This is exactly the kind of business we should all support."

"Carlos is a delightful person who is willing to work collaboratively and creatively. His rates are very reasonable and he is good at helping you fit your dream into your budget. He has a little trouble staying on top of complex work, especially when it involves subcontractors, but the wait is worth it. We are more than pleased with the extensive work he did for us and our landscaping is the envy of the neighborhood."

"I purchased an Angie's List big deal that specified I would be contacted within 2 business days by vendor.  Despite my efforts to contact vendor and Angie's List follow up, it took a week until vendor contacted me.  While vendor and his assistant did a lot of work while they were here and he had more gardening skills than the crew that comes in and trims and weeds my garden in a big spring cleanup every year, there were areas where the work performed did not live up to my expectations.
I have about 70 medium and large pots in my patio area and front yard, as well as pockets in my garden where the flowers need refreshing every spring.  I purchased a large number of plants to plant in these areas.
The gardener set up 5 new pots in my front yard, spruced up the ~10 existing pots, and added a drip system.  He brought some cuttings from another job which was very nice of him.  The drip system was set up properly, although I needed to hide a lot of the tubing that was used.
The assistant planted most of the pots and garden areas in my back yard.  There was a complete lack of artistry.  In hindsight, I should have had them set out all of the plants and approved their locations before letting them plant.  Additionally, since the work was completed, a number of plants died in the pots.  When the plants died back, I saw that the plants were taken out of their containers, placed on the soil, and never actually planted.  In addition, the existing drip system on my patio was left with some tubing not going to any plants, small pots with big drippers, and very large plants with small drippers.  A short test of the system would have uncovered this.
It's possible that my expectations were too high, but I thought that by going up in price to someone who was a landscaper, I could work more closely with someone this year so that in the future they could come in and do my spring planting for me instead of supplying labor while I supervised.
