"So I must start this review by saying when my husband first wanted Pavers I didn’t get it. It seemed more expensive than concrete and I didn’t understand the difference. Once I walked out on my new patio I TOTALLY GOT IT! The patio is beautiful with such character and quality. IT feels totally solid but I know it will last forever. Not only did I love the outcome but the process was truly impressive. While we had a few changes and adjustments along the way I got to see what service really meant from our team. Our Designer Craig, our project manager Mark and our install team lead by Baldo all made it possible. Initially we had a confusion with the design and they stepped up and just fixed everything. We had an issue with the date and had to push it and they couldn’t be more accommodating. We finally got to the actual install and im sure these poor guys thought they were in the clear….but not quite. They started to pull the stones into the back yard and had to stop Baldo and say it wasn’t the color I wanted. Without a second’s hesitation he had the whole crew stopped and the Mark on the phone to make sure my back yard was exactly what I wanted. They pushed double time and had it all switched in a matter of days. Its service like that that gives me no hesitation to recommend them. Every project an have its hiccups but this team will make it all run smoothly. Thank you all for your help my dog cooper, my husband and I are all thrilled with our new outdoor living space."

"From the title of the company, I wasn't sure if they would do a small caulking job. I called a week ahead and Mike came on the morning I suggested at a convenient time for me, 10 a.m. A few minutes before 10 he called to say he'd be 20-30 minutes late. I thought, oh no, don't tell me this is one of those late arrivals. But in 20 minutes he arrived. He surveyed the area and told me what had to be done. Then he got right to work. He was finished in about an hour and a half. He cleaned up everything. He was very polite and friendly. He said he had cleaned and sealed grout in kitchens in similar floor plans in Sun City Roseville, where I live. I asked how much, as my tiles needed that service too. Mike said 350, which seemed reasonable to me. I said I would contact him this summer. His office is only a few miles from my house."

"We have been planning to re-landscape our backyard since we moved in 14 years ago. We finally decided to end the procrastination. <br /> We started with collecting bids from several companies that specialize in Pavers, and that also had positive reviews on Yelp/Angie’s List. <br /> Lee’s bid had everything we wanted, at a reasonable price, that did not nickel and dime us, for every little component, like connecting drains, etc. <br /> Don was also very flexible during the project. Always happy to accommodate reasonable changes and additions. We ended up adding a walkway, that I now can’t believe we lived so long with out. The final project was beautiful, 1300 sq feet of pavers, retaining wall, sitting wall, etc. <br /> In addition, Lee worked with my Patio Cover contractor (Don’s Awnings) in order to coordinate permit work, and inspections. If you plan on doing pavers and having a patio cover as well, its best to have the work coordinated. We originally were going to wait a year, but due to the type of work required to place a patio cover on pavers, that would have been a major headache. Glad we did our research, on that issue. <br /> The only thing left, is to have our pavers sealed…something that we plan on having completed, once we have some warmer weather. <br /> Lee was also quick to send out a couple guys to move a drain and recut pavers related to the move, for the patio cover project completion, when I gave him a call. <br /> If i had to be knit picky, my only complaint, is that Lee sometimes takes a day to return calls, while in the planning and kick off process, however, with that said, I would hire him again, with no reservations. <br />"

"It was a great experience. Julio returned our inquiry call promptly and came to our house that day to give us an estimate. We were originally going to just do the front courtyard, but his price was so reasonable that we added the side yard to the job. Julio then sent us the next day to the two paver suppliers in the area to pick the pavers and colors we wanted. Two days later a whole crew and some big trucks pulled up at 6:30 a.m., ready to go to work. It took two long, hot days (it was 105 with high humidity the second day), but the crew actually stayed until 9:00 pm the second day (Saturday) in order to complete the work and get everything cleaned up. During that time, Julio came back and forth because he was overseeing two jobs at the same time, but checked in with us each time to assure things were going according to our wishes. <br /> <br />We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Desert Concepts and heartily recommend them. We hope to use them in the future to convert our yard to desert landscape in response to the California drought. Julio and his crew worked so hard and were so professional. They were even going up and down the street blowing off any dust and dirt before they left the second evening. <br />"

"I needed stone to reface my fireplace, which had dark green marble on it.  Very outdated and not at all to my taste.  I tried two masons on Angie's List but neither of them seemed capable of sustaining a conversation or returning calls.  I went to Rustic Brick to buy stone and also to ask if they could recommend a mason.  Bryan at Rustic Brick was extremely helpful, patient, and attentive. I feel that I got a good price on quartzite stone panels and travertine stone for the hearth.  Bryan placed the order and was on the spot to let me know when it came in.  He also recommended a mason, Joe Porto, Jr. of Topline Masonry and coordinated with Joe to pick it up.  Meanwhile, Joe came out to my house, gave me an estimate, and performed the work quickly and efficiently a couple of weeks after I placed my order with Rustic.  Joe even came back on a Sunday to effect a couple of very small repairs. <br /> The cost of 10 square feet of quartzite panels and 11 square feet of travertine was $180.  Joe charged $600 for his work, which was excellent and took all of a morning. <br /> I really can't say enough good things about Rustic and Joe Porto. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Doug Abrams was the first to reply and the first to provide an estimate. He discussed the project with me at length to make sure he would provide what was needed and wanted for the project. His suggestions were much appreciated on how to finish the job. <br /> The Abrams Built quote was the lowest price, by far, but the main reason I chose them was that the company took the job seriously and appears to know its business very well. They were very professional from the beginning to the end. The work was scheduled to take two days but through some very hard work they finished it in one. The result is exactly what I was wanting and I am very happy with the results."
