"This was our second experience with Custom Application Painting. We had worked with them originally in July to repaint the interior of our home. I was so happy with the work they had done for us before, I couldn't wait to work with them again. Because they did work on the inside of the home they were able to compliment the outside with new colors that tied the look of the home together. "I have an 86 year old home I'm trying to sell. It had painted hardwood floors under paint that someone painted! What a crime! I had Tim come out and refinish all three of my bedrooms. Oh my goodness, once I saw the finished pro, I wished to God I had had Tim done my floors 8 years ago when I bought the home. He was fast, worked so hard to get the floors perfect. I just know I will get top dollar now for my home! I wonder if he will do my new home in Texas? You can't go wrong using Tim!"

"Tom and his crew painted a set of rooms (bedrooms, bathroom, hallway). Tom's suggestion of gray walls and white trim and ceilings worked beautifully. His crew did a masterful job of prepping the rooms, including repairing portions of the ceiling. Workers arrived on time, worked steadily, and were pleasant. Tom kept me informed throughout the process. The price was fair and reasonable. I can see myself having him back to paint the other rooms over the next year or so."

Listened to what I had to say and was willing to go beyond what he originally was called out for. Project took 3 days. Joe even painted the area's that he repaired. Very professional.

"We turned to Shaffer Painting to fix a botched job by the previous contractor who made a huge mess of our new concrete patio and benches. The Shaffer team was very neat, organized and pleasant to work with. They were great in working within our budget and even worked out their schedule to suit ours. They were able to stay on schedule and yet took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted or needed and were very helpful when we weren�t sure. They were also very patient in making any adjustments in color or design. The end result is fantastic and much more than we imagined. Overall, it was a very successful transaction!"

"The power wash and clean-up were both very perfunctory. Many garden plants are speckled with paint. That said, the price was very reasonable and the house has been painted. Considering the hasty prep that was done, I only hope the paint job lasts a few years.

"Working with Martin and JR’s Painters was a wonderful experience, start to finish. Martin was on time for every appointment—from giving us an estimate to each day he and his crew came to work on the house. The price he gave us was quite fair, and the work completed was excellent. Martin was very clear from the start about what he would do—from caulking cracks and gaps (that had never been filled in all the years our 1958-built ranch has been around) to small stucco repairs to prep and painting. And he followed the plan exactly. JR’s is truly is a family business, too. Martin and his son were there every day—and some days his niece and sister-in-law helped out as well. The whole crew was incredibly neat, soft-spoken, cheerful and professional. Martin appears to be a great boss who is teaching the next generation of painters important skills. He was also helpful when we were stuck on our final choice of color, and the final walkthrough was a real pleasure—both to see all of the crew’s good work and because Martin happily fixed even the smallest imperfections that we pointed out. I have seldom felt better about a contractor. My spouse and I both highly recommend JR’s Painters—and I look forward to the next project we can hire them to do! TWO MORE TIPS: 1.
