"Ricardo and his team were great. We'd called a few contractors for competing bids, and Ricardo impressed us with his friendly, professional demeanor, his expertise, and his reasonable bid. He was always very easy to reach by phone and email, and he followed up with us throughout the process to make sure all of our co-op paperwork and insurance requirements were satisfied and that we were happy with the work done. Ricardo included the flooring materials in his bid and took care of pickup and delivery. He came by to give us an initial bid, then again to drop off samples and to pick up a materials deposit check. On the day of the project, he and his crew of two men came at around 9:30am. Ricardo stayed through the removal of the tile floor and the start of installing the hardwood (then he left while his team kept working). He returned mid-afternoon to check in, and again at the end of the day when the project was finished at 5pm. Ricardo and his team were able to work around our kitchen appliances so we didn't have to haul our refrigerator and stove out into our living room, which was incredibly helpful. And when they realized how easy it would be to remove one side of cabinets to install the hardwood beneath them (rather than cutting around them), they did so, charging us only for the extra materials (no additional labor). When they accidentally broke the glass front of our oven door while pulling the unit away from the wall, Ricardo took the oven door with him and found a place that replaced the glass-- and he had the repaired door back to us by the end of the day (reattached to the oven, of course). He and his team were able to finish the project in one day instead of two, including the small additional project of cutting a piece of finished plywood to fit the side of our cabinet and attaching it. By the end of the day, we had a fully functional kitchen with a lovely new floor and a seamlessly repaired cabinet. We were consistently impressed with Ricardo's professionalism, problem-solving, flexibility, and attention to detail. He made the entire project go smoothly from start to finish, and was always pleasant and responsive. We would absolutely consider using him again in the future."

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
