"This was a hard removal. It was a cement surface over my concrete pool deck. It had to be removed with an industrial size grinder that looked like a big floor polisher. The work was dirty and dusty but at the end of the day and throughout the job, it was being continuously cleaned and dry vacuumed. Every evening (it took 5 days) the completed areas had been cleaned and left neatly. They moved my furniture, my plants, everything and then returned it. Hire them. They are already hired for another project. Highly recommend without hesitation."

For instance, I have an extremely long driveway and he made certain that the trucks hauling in the concrete didn't break up the ground. The completed work takes 20 years off the look of the house. It was an old estimate and he honored that plus the percentage off. In addition, some kids had walked through it overnight and he came back to sand out the footprints. He also dug out some sticks on a patio that were 30 years old and fixed up the patio. He watched over it like a mother hen watches her eggs. "I noticed a crack that started in my living room and continued into one of the bedrooms. The bedroom floor was sinking away from the wall. I did research and found Poly Lift USA. I contacted the office and spoke with the receptionist. She was very polite and was able to answer a few questions I had. She scheduled me for an estimate that very week. The manager came out and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all of the questions I had. I received the estimate later that day via email and was able to accept it on the spot. The next day, I received a call from their office to schedule my project the following week as well as an email reminder. Their crew arrived on time and started to work almost immediately. They explained the process as they worked and allowed us to watch. They drilled small holes throughout the home and then injected the polyurethane. Once they were done, they filled the holes with a sanded concrete and cleaned up the minimal mess that was made. It was done in less than a day. "Griff came out and went over the details of the job with me. He measured square footage, checked the slope of the land, explained the process, including explaining the moisture shield and wire reinforcement. He asked how and where I wanted the equipment trucks and cement truck to go. He made sure I knew exactly what to expect. He and his crew arrived on time each day. They came out after the cement had hardened and cleaned up everything perfectly. He asked if I had someplace I wanted them to put the little pieces of concrete or if I wanted him to take the concrete. I have a runoff ravine and he purposefully placed them where they would do the most good. They raked the dirt neatly around the slab and put the grass plugs in the dirt. The grass is already being established. I highly recommend Griff's Concrete. In fact we are hiring him again to put in front sidewalks and a little patio. You might find somebody who says they will do it cheaper but it won't be better. <br />"

"A leak from the shower pan caused damage to the opposite side of the bathroom wall.  In order to properly dry out the area, part of the hallway wall was  removed - approx. 18 inches high and 9 feet long).  Tile in the bathroom shower was also removed. Because I did not have tile to repair the damaged area in the bathroom, all the tile had to be removed and replaced including the floor.   Damage to the vanity, required that a new vanity be installed.  Also, minor damage to the vanity in the guest bathroom, required repair. <br /> <br /> I cannot be happier with the work that Tinex Construction dba Pro Handyman Solutions did.  They were on time, courteous and professional in every way.  The hallway wall was repaired, painted and new baseboard installed.  You couldn't tell that this wall was damaged after the crew finished with it.  <br /> <br /> Before they started working on the master bathroom, the crew  covered furniture in the adjoining bedroom to keep the dust to a minimum.  They performed the necessary demo work (all wall and floor tiles) and removed the debris quickly.  They finished the repairs to the shower pan which passed inspection without a hitch.  When the crew went to install the tile, they found that the wall was uneven in some areas.  Not a problem-they evened out the walls and did a fantastic job installing the tile.  They were able to save some bathroom accessories  and the  verticals so that I did not have added expense.  The newly evened out bathroom walls were painted where needed.  A frameless shower door was installed as the last touch to my now beautiful bathroom. <br /> <br /> I would definitely call on Tinex Construction dba Handyman Solutions to do additional work for me.  I feel very confident in their way of serving the customer.  I know it will be a job well  done."

"It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. The price was good. It was $99 for 3 hours, which was good. They were good. They were there on time and finished the work on time."

"The package was to include caulking and minor repairs, all exterior painting, washing and prepping of all surfaces, and labor. Paint was to be paid for by the homeowner. We ALSO had to purchase the caulking, the blue tape and papers for covering the windows. They were to start on either March 31 or April 1, but when I called Mike to let him know they could start on Apr. 1, he said they had another job to do that day, and they would start on April 2. They did start on April 2nd, but never showed up until almost 10 in the morning, and the same thing happened on the two following days. Mike did very little of the actual work, he left many, many times, especially on the first 2 days. He seemed to spend a lot of time on his cell phone, when the others were working. His "helpers', Julian and Marty, did 90% or more of the actual work, and they worked well. On the third day, when they thought they were done and were packing up to leave, we had to point out to them areas that needed to be touched up or finished. They also had to use our ladders which were in our garage, as they didn't seem to have any of their own. <br />     I also hired Mike to pressure wash our pool deck and fence, and we'd agreed on a price ($200) but the work was done by Marty and Julian, again. Mike told me at least 3 times during the course of the 3 days that he hadn't been paid by Angie's List yet, that Angie's List took 30% of his pay, and asked more than once about the price of the pressure washing. I told him that I paid up front for the entire job when I contracted him on Angie's List. We were considering having some additional staining or painting work done to the fence by Mike, but changed our minds by the third day. I feel that he may be having some financial stress, but that is not my concern with a contractor. I expect the contractor to keep his personal problems to himself. <br />"
