"repair several pieces of granite floor tiles. ~remove and replace grout from an oversized living space, kitchen, bathrooms, mud room and hallways including counter tops and breakfast bar. ~clean granite tiles that had layers of grime from previous owner. "sand and refinish wood floor and railings in loft. During the early stages of the work, we decided to make some big modifications in what we wanted to have done and Tomahawk just went with the flow. They were able to easily make the changes and come up with alternative ideas. Communication and reliability are crucial when working with contractors and we have to say that Ritchie answered each one of our questions, concerns, and requests no matter what time of day it was. We never felt neglected or worried about lack of communication. The work is being done beautifully with concern for details and it's obvious that Tomahawk takes pride in their finished labors. We have already discussed what the next step in our remodeling projects will be for winter 2023. _"

"Everything went wonderfully with this company.  They were very professional, listened to exactly what my problem was, and explained to me how they were going to diagnose the problem and/or solve it before doing any actual work.  Once they started, the team (three people came) worked together like a well-oiled machine.  One was in the room with diagnostics, one was at the fuse box looking for possible problems there, and the third went into the crawlspace beneath our house to look at the physical wiring.  Once the problem was found (there was a faulty wire beneath the house that had come loose from the junction box), it was fixed and tested within minutes and another full diagnostic was done to make sure there were no other possible issues.  They cleaned up after themselves very neatly.  They also replaced the light switch with a dimmer switch at no extra cost!  Well within my budget, and came in even lower than their original (FREE) estimate!  I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the Bergen County area.

Low and his crew showed up when he said he would to start the job (remove the old roof, installed ice dam protection, ridge vents, re flashed the 100+ year old chimney and re-flashed our newer skylight, replaced boards that had deteriorated and ones that were falling apart after 100+ years of being re-roofed many times. Lou and his crews work was some of the very best I have seen in 35+ years of being a real estate broker who has worked with many contractors over the years. All of their work including clean-up every day (final clean-up was meticulous) - Lous pricing was good and very fair for the original roofing job and the prices he charged me for the unseen work that absolutely need to be done was also very fair. If you want a **True Professional** who is committed to the schedule of time he quoted to have the job done for you and who is a very considerate contractor, you will not go wrong if you hire Lou French to do the job for you and if you do, you will be very happy with the end result of the job he will do for you.
