"We had requested Carlos to give an estimate for refinishing the hardwood floors. As it turns out the floors were engineered floors and therefore couldn't refinish the floors. Instead, we hired Carlos as his team to install LVT floors. His team (and family) did an amazing job getting the floors installed in our main floor of the townhouse. They prepped the floors, removed the baseboard trims, laid the flooring all throughout the living, kitchen, and powder room in half a day. They also removed the toilet pot and installed a new ring before installing it back. In addition, they sanded down and stained the stairs as they were wood steps with a darker shade to match the LVT floors we installed. Overall, Carlos and his team were responsive, got the job done in a timely manner, were professional, and had experience in refinishing and installing the new floors. I would highly recommend him for this type of work."

"My husband and I hired Charles Smith from Smith Restorations & Repair to get some work done (inside and out) over 3 months from Feb - April of 2018. In total, Smith Restorations handled repairs to our tree house, built a new deck, which included some stone patio work, installed floors for our entire first floor, updated our 1/2 bath and remodeled my kitchen. HE DID ALL OF THIS IN TWO MONTHS. And it all looks fantastic! I am not a contractor and Charles had much better ideas than I did for how to rearrange the kitchen. We went from thinking we had to move electrical panels and walls to a much simpler design which he believed would achieve the same end. It did. His ideas saved us tons of money. 2) He was the only person who came out and gave a care about our tree house. It was dangerous, needed to be dealt with and two other contractors came and stuck up their noses. 3) We were given options, some of which included sketches. There is more than one way to do things and he knows more than one way. Great good, better, best scenarios. 4) Smith allowed us to use our resources when we had them (I had a good electrician friend) and he did not look to mark-up workers that he brought in to drive up the price. 5) Smith cleans up and hauls away mess. Every day. Enough said. 6) Cost effective. Straightforward in materials and labor costs. 7) Smith Restorations went above and beyond for us and we just kept coming up with projects.
