"I had them install an egress window mid-July. I was pretty happy with the window. Late August we had the major rains and the window held up great. Unfortunately, the dirt they back filled sunk 1.5 feet down around the entire perimeter 2-3 feet out. This was not a complaint for me, it happens with back fill. What was a problem was that I sent dozens of texts and phone calls to empty promises to bring me more dirt for almost 2 months. Then suddenly they tell me they won't bring the dirt since they considered this "landscaping" which was not included in the contract, without even coming to see the extent of the issue. This was a backfill problem, NOT landscaping. They FINALLY conceded to bring dirt, but complained they'd have to rent equipment to get to the backyard. At this point I just said put it in my driveway and I'd move it. So, this past Saturday, I (at almost 50 years old) spent 5 hours moving a huge pile of dirt instead of the people with young men and machinery that I paid $6,000 to do the work. On top of that, they dumped the dirt across the entire front of my garage instead of to the side (2 car driveway), trapping my car in the garage until I finished moving the dirt. So, either they were being massive jerks about it, or just incredibly stupid."

"It went amazing. After submitting my needs to Angies list we got an email within fifteen minutes. He said the work could get done in the time frame requested. Well the weather didn't cooperate, but Al said that they could do the work on a Saturday! What??? Turns out they didn't have to because the weather turned wonderful and he took the opportunity to get the crew to work. So not only was the work performed ahead of schedule, but the work itself is beyond words. The chimney which literally could have blown over in the next storm, was returned to what seems better than original glory. Straight, level and beautifully capped. We would definitely recommend and if ever in the market for repairs or masonry in general, we will use Al and his crew again!"

The concrete walkway, front step and driveway sections that had settled over time were gently lifted and leveled using a polymer foam. After the work, all of the driveway section seams were level and smooth. Very few traces of the work were left behind. We would highly recommend Badger Basement Systems."

Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. There are so many things that can go wrong when redoing a home, and having it go off with such a perfect start gives us such great hope. "Awesome job! Mike, the owner came over and reviewed the problems I was having. I had lots of photos to share with him regarding the incoming water problems in heavy rains. <br /> Mike noted that the problem wasn't really HOW to get the water out, but rather how to KEEP the water out. (I had 3 other companies provide estimates; only A+ offered a solution to stop the water.) His pricing wasn't the cheapest, but it was fair. <br /> I signed the estimate and the work got scheduled in a timely manner. <br /> On the scheduled day, Mike's crew came over and began work. They planned to replace a wall that was literally rotting out, and replace a leaky basement window with concrete. When the crew came upon questions, they contacted Mike who came over, reviewed what needed to be done, provided expert advice noting how great their progress was, and they went back to work. They completed the job in less than 2 days. I have NOT had any water problems since. And if I do, Mike said to just call -- I was given a lifetime warranty on the work. <br /> Excellent work. "It was discovered during a fireplace insert project that the flashing around my chimney was installed incorrectly and leaked causing the wood to rot. Ganser came, matched the siding and did the work to replace all the wood etc. It looks great and the fireplace insert project commenced without a hitch. They were professional, courteous and, although were booked months out, actually were able to come earlier than expected. THEN Marc came and did an "Aloha" meeting with me to see if I had any questions or concerns. I will definitely call them in the spring to fix some siding problems (not related to their work)."

"Jim came and gave me a direct quote on Wednesday 03/05 and was there on Friday 03/07 to start work.  He told me he would be done in 4 days and he was and the cost was the exact quote.  His attention to detail is incomparable to previous contractors I have hired.  Jim had a carpenter come to put in the new bookshelves, but when I returned home to view the finished shelving I was appalled at the different lengths of trim and lack of quality in the work.  I told Jim about my issues and he took the time to replace the trim himself because he agreed with me.  He didn't like the bookshelf work either!!!  He helped me with bringing in a fireplace repair company to service my dated gas insert and talked to the service guy as I didn't know anything about my insert.  He found a new sash and painted it to my specs.  Jim went above and beyond in terms of service and quality.  I will be hiring him again to replace my fence when I have saved the funds. <br />"
