"This company was again recommended by a satisfied relative and so far has made three visits in 4 days for the current issues which involve 9 or 10 breaks dispersed and hidden around a 200 foot 3rd floor heating loop.  Mark sandwiched his work in with other companies that were thawing and cleaning up the mess and did a very valuable service of discovering and correcting problems with the pipes and the furnace.  This was done at a very cold and busy time for heating problems in Anchorage and his response was better than expected.  We hope to get him back for some piping improvements once things have dried out more."

"Weatherize Alaska booked two (2) days to complete this work.  The first day was the crawl space sealing and the second day was the AEROSEAL Duct Sealing.  Everything was completed on time exactly as Ryan Hunt had explained it would be done.   <br /> VAPOR BARRIER & AEROSEAL:  Mikel and his assistant Taylor did the vapor barrier removal and new vapor barrier install work as well as the AEROSEAL work.  They were both very polite, professional, and careful.  The new vapor barrier was installed with good attention to detail to ensure it was secured well for the urethane sealing to be completed.  Also, when they came back for the AEROSEAL, they were very careful and thorough to ensure no glue from the AEROSEAL got on to any item inside my house by covering everything in painter's plastic.  They also went above and beyond by foam sealing areas in my family room where the recessed ceiling and ducting did not have complete drywall enclosing the duct work.  They were great about cleaning up any mess associated with their tasks. <br /> URETHANE FOAM SEALANT APPLICATION:  Ernesto and his brother Elvis did the urethane foam insulation spraying.  They did a FANTASTIC job!  They were extremely professional, polite, respectful, and Ernesto's attention to detail was outstanding!  He did the majority of the spraying and assisted his brother to make sure the spray job was even, thorough, and looked good.  They worked hard and efficiently.  The final result was a generous spraying of foam insulation with perfect sealing of all requested areas.  These two young men did such a fantastic job I would highly recommend them to all my friends. <br />"

"Senior mechanic John worked alone on both the estimate and repairs. There was no charge for the estimate. Although I had asked for estimates for both repair and replacement of the boiler with a new energy efficient one, he convinced me that I would be happier repairing the old one, and didn't try to sell me a new one. He says boilers like mine are all over town and quite reliable. The new energy efficient models require more frequent and expensive service and sometimes shut completely down when certain things go wrong, whereas the standard models like I have may leak and bang when parts are wearing out, but keep on working. He said Klebs stocks all the parts for my current boiler, and carries all the parts they need in their vans. I called them in the first place because of a leak from the pressure relief drain pipe. The safety relief system was worn out. The water heater and boiler were originally installed very close together so that it was almost impossible to work on the relief tank. By changing the position of the boiler and water heater relief pipes and installing the new pressure tank on the wall, he made it so the system can be easily serviced and repaired in the future, and so that if the water heater or boiler get a leak, I can see immediately where the leak is coming from. I have had the boiler inspected previously for replacement estimates, but John was the first mechanic I have encountered who seemed 100% knowledgeable about this model, and quite candid in discussing the options (not focused on selling me a new one). He was able to do the estimate during my lunch hour so I didn't have to use annual leave. While doing the repair he worked steadily, and cleaned up after himself. When I called the day after repairs to say a zone wasn't working, he made a trip back to trouble shoot (again during the lunch hour), quickly identified the problem (a thermostat), fixed it in just a few minutes and didn't charge for the extra trip. <br />"
