"I contacted Richard's for an estimate and compared it with two other estimates. The job involved the removal the 5 large trees. Richard's was close to the lowest bid but more importantly he had the proof of insurance in hand and clearly had the experienced personnel the equipment to efficiently and safely handle the job. They arrived the next week and I could not have been more pleased with their operation. It was all like a ballet with a crew of 5 who accomplished the job with great skill and professionalism. They reached most ot the trees with a 70 ft bucket extension and had a chipper that could handle 18 inch logs -- amazing to see in action. They were very friendly and accomidating. They finished the job in less than one day while the other estimates felt at least two days would be necessary. Their cleanup was more than I expected. When they left, everything looked the same except the 5 trees were gone"

Our yard had been neglected we had trees and shrubs hanging over the gutters and stubborn weeds. Now I really feel proud of our lawn when I wave to the neighbors because not only was the greenery trimmed but they made each bush and tree like shrub in a perfect manicured shape. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."
