I also felt comfortable leaving him and his crew in my home alone if I needed to run errands. "Emperial Floors did a phenomenal job installing solid wood oak flooring in my home, covering 3 rooms and 2 hallways and also rebuilt the staircase with oak retrotreads. The flooring looks fantastic!! It was a fairly large job, approximately 900 square feet and I had alot of concerns about the final outcome, since I had 2 different types of flooring, carpet and parquet, that needed to be replaced. There was a particle board sublayer under the carpet that needed to be replaced with new plywood, but there was existing plywood under the parquet that could be kept and I was very concerned about the floors being level with the tile in the bathroom and kitchen after the new plywood and flooring was installed. I actually interviewed 7 companies before finally selecting a company to do the job! I happened to come across Emperial and set up a meeting with the owner, Ricky Core. Mr. Core's knowledge of the flooring and building industry is very impressive. He explained all aspects and challenges of the install job very clearly, so that I had a clear understanding and complete assurance the job was going to be done correctly. He also knew exactly what width plywood needed to be used to make the floors completely level, a mistake that was unfortunately miscalculated by two other companies. His team always arrived on schedule, were friendly, very courteous and responsive, and are highly skilled and worked at lightspeed pace without sacrificing quality. I give this company my highest recommendation. They did an exceptional job and my house looks absolutely beautiful."

"The work I had was to replace the wooden floor for the kitchen,dining,living and sun rooms plus the pantry,powder room and the passage leading from the front door,due to a leaking pipe.For quality of the job done, I would give the company 10 out of 5 if that was possible. They were quick to make contact with us through Home Advisor and provided an estimate within a few days. I actually got four other estimates and they were the most competitive. The important thing to me was the measurements they provided. The square feet for the area to be repaired with engineered wood, was the least of all the estimates. Area measured by Kairos was approximately 850 sq ft. All the others were 1000-1100 square feet!!! I knew he was the closest to what was required. At the end of the project, only five lengths of wood was remaining. Amazing. That told me a lot about his honesty and right away I hired him. That’s another 10 out of 5!!!! Douglas the owner is a charming person and knows his job really well. I unequivocally recommend him very highly. A job well done."
