"Our experience with The Original Plumber and Brian Payne was excellent. Our main sewer link was leaking in the crawlspace and our 50-year old cast iron pipes were not draining properly. Brian and his assistant were prompt, courteous and kept us informed about what he was discovering and the best way to resolve the plumbing problems. They replaced all cast iron pipes that came out of the foundation and all of the problems were fixed! "Great job, Excelsior arrived earlier than expected after checking to be sure it was OK to come early. When they arrived the immediately went to work removing the old water heater wasting no time. The job was completed within a couple of hours. The work was high quality and the new water heater works well. I checked several other plumbers and his pricing is in line with other plumbers in the area. Netting it down, excelsior does quality work in the time frame promised and at a reasonable price. "I'm the type of homeowner that never has a job go according to plan. Karma, dark cloud, who knows - there are always extras. I always just await the "Well Mr Jackson...." lead in and I cringe. Imagine my shock when Tim arrives at my residence, suryeys the job, checks water pressure & quotes me exactly the price I saw mentioned on this site. I almost had to sit down to sign :-) The old Ruud unit turned out to be a 1991 install so I think I've beaten the 18 yr old unit whos owner reviewed earlier. It's TP valve was beginning to fail and I was getting a steady stream of water out the drain pipe. Tim did a great job and didn't mind my observing the work. I googled this models reviews online and they were excellent. So the install was uneventful, your guy was an excellent ambassador of the things I've seen you write about here, and I've already talked G Force up to a peer at my office who will soon need a similar replacement.
