"Jake took out a tree, regraded the whole back yard (we have narrow side yards and Jake was the only landscaper we called who said he could get equipment back there without going through the neighbors yard and tearing out part of the fence). He put in a pretty rock border, redesigned a flower bed and put in Zoysia sod that everyone else said was too hard to get. And he even fixed the sprinkler system! He was very professional, prompt, and hard-working. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will call him again when we decide to put in that flagstone patio!!"

"Green Matters is either too busy or understaffed. It took MONTHS for the work to be done. Further, while eventually the work was mostly completed, to include replacement of SOME of the plants that did not survive, there is still remaining “warranty” work that I have simply given up on being done. That said, I really like the owner personally, and as poor as this recent experience has been, I also used Green Matters in prior years with superb results. So, I am very disappointed, but there is more work I would like to have done, and would give Green Matters another chance IF very firm, inforceable commitments were made. And for that to be acceptable, I would require the work to be done with only a very small upfront payment."

"Everything was great from the start. We received a call from Mr. Watkins within a couple of minutes of requesting a quote on Angieslist. He came out for an initial estimate while we were at work, and asked to meet with us to discuss our options for tree removal and trimming. Mr. Watkins outlined the work that he and his crew would perform, and offered to begin work the following day. We sought out three bids, and Tiny's Tree Service was the lowest bid by approximately half of the highest bid. It took his crew two days to complete our job. We were impressed with the care and concern for our yard, patio, and roof with the job, as we had a couple of trees with limbs hanging close to, and over, our roof. When the job was finished, Mr. Watkins' crew did a stellar job cleaning up the yard and left everything as it was before work started. Best of all, the crew did not use heavy machinery or tracked vehicles to remove the trees and move trunks/branches to the chipper. We will absolutely contact Tiny's Tree Service again."
