"A roofer arrived at my place around 1pm (same day as my phone call). He examined the drywall and examined the roof. He quickly determined that what I was seeing was actually yellowed tape where pieces of drywall had been joined together showing through the less than adequate paint job. I'm sure he was right. The stain was a perfectly straight line and my original home renovator did a sloppy job. I was embarrassed that I had called him out, but he was very polite about it. Horizon Roofing is awesome, and I would recommend them to anyone!"

"Generally I was pleased with the performance of the company and the quality of the job, although I did experience some frustration. Although the weather report for the day showed a very low chance of rain, a massive freak rain storm occurred while the company was performing the job. At the time the storm occurred, they had removed the roof from my house, and had not installed the new roof. As a result, the interior of my house was exposed. I had a fair amount of water damage as a result. The company owner, Terry, was not on site during the job (which is pretty standard practice, per my research), but he came over immediately upon hearing about the situation. He took a look at the damage and agreed that his company should cover the cost of having the damage repaired. Terry found a local contractor to do the work. The quality of the repair work was great, and I am pleased with the repairs. It is worth noting that it took over a month to have the damage completely repaired. I was out of town on vacation for a week during this time, but I still would of liked to have the situation resolved a little faster. Overall, I do believe that other roofing companies would not have been as willing or cooperative to resolve this situation. The roof looks good and hasn't given me any problems so far. Dry Tech also offered a much better warranty on the labor than other contractors that considered. The price was fair, but not the cheapest I found. They seemed to replace a reasonable amount of wood roof decking, as well, so they didn't gouge me there. They charged 5 dollars a liner foot for 6 inch wide roof decking, and 10 dollar a liner foot for 12 inch wide decking. Turns out my house has 8 inch wide decking, so they had to use the 12 inch wide boards for most of the job, and charge me 10 dollars per foot. Other companies that I priced were cheaper in this regard. Overall, I was mostly pleased with my experience with Dry Tech."

"Had a leak, replaced roof at their suggestion. Service was prompt. <br /> <br /> Misgiving is that I contacted him today regarding a leak in the same spot. Was told they're no longer in the area and that the roof is not under warranty. I find this puzzling because I see recent reviews here for the provider so I would have thought they'd at least come by and taken a look. <br />"

"It was great to deal with Premier Roofing and the owner was very responsive to clarifying questions we had, particularly related to the different vent system we chose to have installed. He stopped by during and following the installations, personally inspecting to make sure things met his standards. There was one minor issue, which he personally was easily able to resolve. It was a pleasure dealing with such a professional, who definitely placed importance on customer satisfaction from start to finish."

"Oh my goodness! There are truly no words to convey how happy we are with our new shingles. Rob came out and met with us after we got estimates from three other companies. His knowledge, professionalism, and personality immediately helped us make up our minds to hire Politz Enterprises to replace our shingles on our home and detached garage. Rob was very attentive to helping us meet our timeline and explained the materials he would use and also explained their outstanding warranty. The crew he sent did an outstanding job at removing the old shingles, applying the new under-layment, installing the new drip edge, and finally applying the shingles. Despite how chilly it was in November, the men worked efficiently and did an outstanding job. They also did an excellent job at cleaning up once the job was complete. "They put in a new slider for us a while back.  The previous storm door which had been custom made fell apart and had to be replaced way before it's time.  It was the same installation crew that put in the slider and they did a great job on the slider a year ago November and they did a very good job installing the new storm door. They were there on time.  Same crew as before and they were very good.  A very efficient crew, very pleasant and worked hard.  It was a very expensive door.  I decided this time I wasn't going to stint, since the last one turned out to be a giant fiasco.  Not that it was cheap, but it wasn't that expensive.  This time I went for a top of the line door & it is a lovely door.  I'm hoping that it's the last one I see until they carry me out of here feet first. They were good.  They were on time, they were efficient, they were pleasant and they answered my questions.  On price, I didn't do as much comparison shopping on that one.  I can't really say. I can't tell you yes or no about the price.  I really didn't do all due diligence in price, but in every other way they did a great job."
