He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. The workmanship is second to none. Patio is perfectly level, drainage is exceptional, and the flagstone is beautifully placed. We are so fortunate to have found Tecton Stoneworks on Angi. "I hired this company to do a retaining wall and they did very nice work. However, it turned out different than I expected. We had agreed to what I thought was a wall that stair-stepped down and would go further out instead I came to see something different. I talked to the owner about it and he said this what we discussed. I disagreed but since there was not much I could do I am stuck with it. Not a bad looking wall just what I really wanted. Based on my experience and quality work. I would still recommend them but would make it very clear what you want. Also, they are pretty pricey."
