I requested for a privacy wooden fence on both sides and a wrought iron fence for the front. I was also getting the driveway repaved at the same time I wanted the fence up. Marvin made it a point to coordinate with the other contractor to ensure the best job was done the first time and neither party had to return a second time because they could have accidentally gotten in one another’s way. Marvin provided follow up communication along the process to ensure that I was informed on why something was or was not occurring. He got the job done! "I had hired this company for a fence replacement and after speaking with the owner about other projects, he said he would give me a good price for a wood patio cover with a shingled roof to match the one on my house. He explained the type and construction he felt would be best for the house (extended roof-line patio) and existing concrete patio. He provided me with the quote for the construction and having been very satisfied with the fence his company installed, I agreed to hire him. He brought his carpenter soon after and work began on the day he said it would. The work progressed steadily despite a rain delay or two, but when it was completed, the finished product was outstanding. The patio cover was attached and tied-in to the roof.  It is definitely more solid and attractive than any of those silly aluminum or metal patio covers that sound good but look really cheap when all is said and done. The roof was properly sloped and flashed to allow run-off. Also included on the roof of the patio cover, were asphalt shingles that matched the ones on my house. He offered to install a ceiling, but I chose the open rafters look. He also offered installing lights and ceiling fans, which I did take him up on, for an added price. They did a really outstanding job. Over a year later, it still looks great and I have had no issues at all."

"It did not go well. He came out and decided to decline fixing the chimney, this is after waiting 2 1/2 weeks! He had looked at our house at least 2 times so he knew it was high when he accepted the job. I had him go ahead and replace the rotted trim out front on our second story even though I was frustrated. He then said he had to go get the supplies for the job. It took him around 2 hours to return with the supplies, which I felt he should have had before coming to my house. Since he decided not to replace the rotted wood around our chimney he painted the front trim and soffet at no extra charge to us. It would have cost me $400 with painting and that was with me providing the paint. I realize now that he way overcharged us for the work. One other thing, that is a huge pet peeve for me, he and his crew left their trash in my side yard. If you do a job clean up after yourself! Needless to say, I would not recommend this company nor will I use them again. <br />"

"When contacting the company, I was told that they only take on projects that are $3500.00 and up.  So, had to go back to Angie's List to find someone else.  They would not come out for an estimate unless the job would be $3500.00 or more."

We went out for three competitive bids. hey were the most competitive and we had used them before, so even with references.They did a superb job. It was excellent. I know the management company we use in our community had even used them for some additional work at some other communities they have here in San Antonio. They have been very good. </p>"
