"I highly recommend GC Construction. They provided excellent service from start to finish for work on my driveway and a slab for my new 2 car garage. At the start Geovanni provided a good quote in a timely manner and suggestions related to the job. While working on the job they showed me a leveling issue with my original design that would have caused rain water to puddle next to the foundation. They provided 3 options to resolve the issue and reasonable quotes. We were aligned on the best solution and they completed the work faster than I expected. In addition, I told them I wanted to use the excavated dirt to fill in holes and dips in the yard. Instead of just piling the dirt in one place, the whole crew worked to fill all the holes and dips around the yard at no additional charge. The next time I have any cement work to be done, I will be calling GC construction first."

"Joshua was excellent to work with. Very responsive. And did a great job. Would give an A+++ if Angie's List supported it:) We needed a 24 foot by 50 foot area cleared for the well drilling rig and support truck, as well as extending the existing driveway up into the woods to the cleared area. There were a significant number of medium sized trees that needed to be removed as well as a number of tree trunks. The job took a few more hours than expected due to issues with part of the area not having stable soil until digging down about 5 feet or so. But Joshua worked steadily and was able to get a stable level base for the well drillers. Spent a lot of time making sure the area was well compacted. We decided that it would be better to add crushed stone to the driveway to help control erosion and to provide more traction for the well drillers. Joshua does very good work, and he made sure that it was done right. Even with the extra work that had to be done, and the spreading of the stone the price remained the same as the initial quote plus the cost of the stone. We gave Joshua a nice bonus over and above what he charged for the job. Once the well is drilled we will have him come back to pull some of the dirt that was excavated back down since we only need to leave about half the width of the cleared area to provide access to the well for repairs in the future. Highly recommend Country Boy Excavating."

"I'm currently in the process of getting my house ready to sell. My driveway was in less than ideal condition, and I wasn't looking to spend a minor fortune on having a new one repaved. When Earnie came over for the estimate he stated that I would need to build a small retaining wall before they could perform the work, otherwise the new asphalt would just slide off into my yard like it had before. I had other estimates (prior to joining Angie's List and finding Conner Asphalt), and none of them told me this would be a problem. For me this is important because it demonstrates they value their work and want it to last, as opposed to their competitors that appear indifferent with regard to their quality...at least for those that I contacted. Another key factor for choosing Conner Asphalt was the price - they were ~$700 cheaper than the other estimates. Wendell, Earnie and the rest of the crew did an amazing job!
